Nia Jax’s Interesting Excuse Why Match Against Dean Ambrose Was Canceled

Nia Jax and Dean Ambrose were set to have an intergender match, but then it was mysteriously taken off the card. It was promoted as a special attraction and was really happening until it was canceled, but there was no official response why except for saying it was a mistake.

Now Nia Jax has another interesting excuse for why this match was nixed. While speaking to Inside The Ropes, she said that it conflicted with her Total Divas filming schedule.

“Unfortunately, my schedule… they didn’t have the schedule right and I had Total Divas that I had to go to so it was more of the scheduling was off and we couldn’t make it work.”

This is a great excuse that she was able to come up with. We heard rumors that an advertiser had words with WWE about intergender wrestling, but then nothing else was said on the matter.

We might eventually see some kind of intergender match in WWE, but Dean Ambrose vs Nia Jax likely will not be that match.
