Kurt Angle has given his body to pro wrestling fans time and time again and he deserves our respect for it. This is why fans chant “You Suck” at him because pro wrestling is a fascinating thing.
Angle is set for a final farewell at WrestleMania 35 and is supposed to reveal his WrestleMania opponent next week on RAW. We will have to wait and see what happens next, because Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Angle appears to be wresling through another injury.
“He hasn’t been so great and he looks like he’s hurt again, too. Like that thing right here [his pec] yeah, so I think he’s hurt and he’s working like he’s hurt a lot.”
“I’ll put it this way, a year ago if you would have said he’s going to do this big retirement I would have said ‘Let him do his 5 matches a year for a couple of years’… now it’s just as well.”
Kurt Angle’s wife said that she wants Angle to open up a wrestling school. Of course, Angle already said that he doesn’t plan on leaving WWE. So he’s likely to stick around as a trainer or find some other place backstage in WWE.
