The Rock comes from WWE, but he hasn’t made a return in a very long time. He showed up to RAW during the filming of Fighting With My Family, but that was just so he could use the live Staples Center crowd to shoot the film’s big grand finale scene.
WrestleMania didn’t feel the same without Dwayne Johnson around for a while, but fans have gotten used to it by now. There was some hope that The Great One could return this year at the show of shows just like every year, but that doesn’t seem to be happening.
Ringside News has been told that there are currently no plans to bring The Rock in for a WrestleMania appearance. You never know if something could be worked out, but we have been told that it’s not even a talking point backstage.
WWE is still putting their WrestleMania card together and is going hard in the paint in that regard as the clock ticks down. The company isn’t even 100% sure of what matches they will put on the grandest stage of them all this year so an appearance of The Rock is not really a huge priority because it is so difficult to work that out considering his ridiculously busy schedule
