Jim Ross will not be sticking around WWE. He made that announcement official on his podcast that dropped yesterday. He also said that he doesn’t think he would be out of work for very long. This could very well be true.

Raja reports that he has heard that Jim Ross will be signing a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. This contract will be worth around $1 million a year.

So…hearing JR is going to be signing a multi-year contract worth close to a million annually with AEW.

This is great news for people who miss hearing Jim Ross’ voice call action in the ring. He hasn’t appeared for WWE in quite some time and after leaving his gig with NJPW last year, he hasn’t been heard since on commentary.

During his podcast, Jim Ross said that he still feels like he has gas in the tank. If this new report is correct then Good ‘ole JR will be instrumental in AEW for multiple years. Of course, this also pretty much cements the idea that All Elite Wrestling’s television show will become major reality if this happens.
