Asuka tapped out Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble. WWE had very good reason for doing this, but it didn’t seem to help Asuka much. Because The Empress Of Tomorrow has remained virtually absent from SmackDown Live since then.

Wrestle Votes said that he has been receiving a lot of questions about Asuka. WWE has a WrestleMania plan for Asuka. They just don’t have an opponent for her that is currently available.

“Been getting a ton of Asuka questions. As far as I know, they do have a plan for Mania. Just wasn’t wise for Asuka to be featured the last few weeks. WWE doesn’t want excessive “brand jumping” prior to WM, leaving only Lana or Vega for Chamber. That’s not a PPV matchup WWE wanted.”

If you are to think about what is said here it stands to reason that Asuka’s future Mania opponent is going to be in the Women’s Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber match on Sunday. We will have to wait and see what happens, but it is good to know that WWE hasn’t forgotten about Asuka.
