Mustafa Ali is very likely not getting his WWE Title shot this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. He was suffering from a tailbone injury, but he continued to work. Now it appears he is not getting a chance to compete and is he reportedly being pulled from the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday.

If Ali was injured it wasn’t Randy Orton’s fault. Fightful reports that fans should stop blaming Randy Orton because Ali’s injury happened last night.

This change to the Elimination Chamber match has nothing to do with the botched Garvin Stomp that caused Mustafa Ali’s huge shiner on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live. It reportedly took place during Ali’s match in Fort Wayne, Indiana last night where he won tag team contest with Tye Dillinger against Shelton Benjamin and Samoa Joe. Ali is said to have experienced an acceleration of his eye injury during that match.

Mustafa Ali is currently not cleared to compete nor is he expected to received such a green light this week.

It is also reported that Randy Orton will be taking the heat for this injury in the storyline. Therefore WWE is writing Mustafa Ali’s injury into the storyline in some respect. Ali reportedly told WWE that he will be okay to compete, but they are not going to test it. Only time will tell which way WWE goes when it comes to choosing a replacement.
