WWE loves their WWE Network and for good reason. It was a project that the company worked on for years and saw their on-demand WWE channel evolve into something far greater.

Although WWE loves to falsely promote increased live attendance numbers, they can’t lie to their investors. This is why it is much more believable when you see something that the company puts out in their earnings reports

According to the most recent WWE earnings report for 2018, the WWE Network pulled in 1.59 million paid subscribers. The word “paid” is very interesting because it would, in theory, not take into account all of those people who got free months. However, if they paid a very small amount for a month as a special it could still apply.

We will have to wait and see if WWE’s promise to bring in more Superstars and “localize content” will happen in 2019. The company is building some big plans and laying the groundwork for even more. Having over 1.5 million WWE Network subscribers isn’t an amazing number, but it is a great point to continue that growth.
