WWE Tag Team Gets Official Name

WWE has a box of gimmicks backstage that they can go to whenever they need an idea. It looks like they recently dug into that box of ideas when coming up with the name for Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville’s tag team.

Although the two former Absolution members might have hinted at turning on each other, they are still a team. Now they are being billed as “Fire & Desire” on commentary.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that this is Rose and Deville’s new team name. This is a change from their previous team name which was nothing but their names.

Fire & Desire might not be going away because that name sounds like it has WWE marketing all over it.
