There is a lot going on in the world of pro wrestling when it comes to All Elite Wrestling. The company signed their first five stars recently and it turns out that some of those contracts were pretty lengthy.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the Khan Family wouldn’t be signing on stars unless they had a definite plan for the company. This could include television distribution. He also went on to discuss the length of the contracts he knows have been offered.

“I mean they’re big deals. The key guys Young Bucks and Cody, not everyone, but those guys are under five-year contracts. They signed five-year deals.”

It was noted that five years is a long time, but three-year contracts might have been more expected. However, locking Cody Rhodes and the Jackson Brothers into five-year deals means they’re making a big commitment to this venture.
