All Elite Wrestling’s second big event is called Double Or Nothing and it will take place on May 25 in Las Vegas Nevada. The show is booked for the MGM Grand Garden Arena, but that wasn’t their first pick.

Dave Meltzer revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that they had initially booked the T-Mobile arena. However, that date could possibly be booked due to the Las Vegas Golden Nights. If they are in the playoffs, then they take priority for the venue if it’s a home game.

It was said that AEW decided on the MGM Grand Garden Arena because of the fact that they didn’t want to run the risk of losing their venue due to an unexpected hockey game. If you remember history, WWE had this same thing happen in Denver a few years ago with the NBA playoffs.

It’s twenty-four times more expensive to run an event in Las Vegas as it was for Conrad Thompson when he ran Starrcast in Chicago. Therefore, they need to make this event a big one.
