Without a doubt, one of the hottest acts in NXT right now is The Undisputed Era- the group comprising of four wrestling veterans in WWE’s developmental brand. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong are four of the top competitors the brand has- and all four are about to step into the ring for War Games during NXT TakeOver: War Games II tonight on the WWE Network.
Cole- who is arguably seen by many to be the de-facto leader of the group was recently interviewed by Sam Roberts on the NotSam Wrestling Podcast, where he gave an insight into how he and his comrades found themselves at the top of the food chain on NXT TV.
Cole named Strong as the major boost the group needed to catapult themselves to the next area. With a group of four close friends, they started to rake in more merchandise sales, get more on-screen time and were booked to compete more often. In every aspect, Strong’s addition to the group was a game-changer.

I can speak for this too. With the three of us, it was a great unit, but to say Roderick was a perfect fit, I mean like the group took off to me when he joined. That’s when stuff started getting crazy and more and more people started buying t-shirts and the main events and… it was a perfect fit.”

The group will face The War Raiders, Ricochet, and Pete Dunne tonight. The Undisputed Era has the advantage after O’Reilly was able to defeat Hanson of The War Raiders on NXT TV earlier this week.
