Cody Rhodes has given a lot to the pro wrestling business but apparently, he recently injured himself and now he is unable to compete. As we previously reported, The American Nightmare said last night that he felt something pop when he was simply teasing a t-shirt throw to the crowd.
Injuries can happen at any time no matter who you are. It seems that wear and tear on Cody’s body was enough to cause his knee to give him some issues. So he was forced to cancel the ROH show and will find a suitable replacement. He is, however, still doing the meet & greet for the event.

“Sadly folks I will not be able to wrestle tomorrow in Toronto. I will still be at the pre-show meet/greet to say hello to everybody. ROH & I will find a suitable replacement for the match. I’m extremely sorry. I’ll be able to confirm the extent of the issue after an MRI this week.”

Cody said he has an MRI scheduled for sometime next week. Hopefully, it’s not a big problem for him because he has some huge plans for next year even though he’s not telling anyone exactly what he’s got in the works yet.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
