WWE is one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world and they are certainly the largest pro wrestling company on the globe. But, are they bigger than Disney, no they’re not. However, WWE’s Chief Brand Ambassador Stephanie McMahon certainly thinks they have a decent shot at achieving this goal.
McMahon was recently in Lisbon for a Web Summit where she spoke to CNBC’s Elizabeth Schulze. She revealed her idea for WWE’s growth in the future and she has some very big goals because she’s going right after Mickey Mouse in terms of how big she wants WWE to become.

“10-20-30 years from now, there’s no reason we can’t be as big or bigger than Disney. Now that’s a tall order, especially given recent transactions. However, there’s no reason why we can’t get there. You have to dream big, have big, bold goals, and go after them.”

Only time will tell how WWE will be able to get this accomplished, but they’re certainly off to a good start in terms of dominating the pro wrestling world.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
