Becky Lynch became “The Man” when she defeated Charlotte Flair at WWE Evolution. After all, as Flair’s father Ric once said: “You’ve got to be the man to beat the man.”
As we previously reported, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were having a little back and forth and it all seemed like it was good natured. Then Rollins quotes Ric Flair’s legendary line and things might have taken an unexpected turn.
“No problem, I could spare five minutes to drop down and face you. Send location. And bring those adorable little flame trunks you have so The Champ can show you how to really burn it down #iamtheman,” Lynch replied. That certainly seems like a challenge to us.
If Lynch is teasing an intergender match — that would be epic. Only time will tell if WWE will be able to capitalize on the amount of fan interest for such a match. But they’re all about making history recently, and although they’ve had intergender matches in the past — Lynch vs Rollins might be a champion vs champion match fans really want to see.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
