It appears that the working relationship between WWE and EVOLVE is becoming increasingly prominent. With signings like Keith Lee and Matt Riddle in combination with Gabe Sapolsky’s position alongside Triple H in NXT, it seems the promotion is closer with WWE than ever before.
WWE has already confirmed that Mustafa Ali will be heading to EVOLVE 115 and 116 to compete against DJZ and Darbin Allin.
They’ve now also confirmed that NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno, a former Champion with EVOLVE, will be returning to the promotion for EVOLVE 117 and EVOLVE 118. He will also be partaking in the World Wrestling Network (WWN) seminar and tryout as a special guest trainer.

Additionally, EVOLVE 114 is this weekend, and while no confirmation has been made, NXT Superstars Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, known as The Street Profits are likely set to challenge Chris Dickinson and Jaka for the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship- with the Champions issuing an open challenge for the show.

If you put these shows together, WWE has a presence in EVOLVE shows for the rest of the year, with confirmations made from EVOLVE 114 through to EVOLVE 118. This seems to be a trend that will not only continue, but increase in amount and frequency as time goes on.
