Shawn Michaels is obviously headed back to WWE in some capacity. There are a lot of rumors surrounding his return and one report from Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast said HBK could be in line for 5 matches when all is said and done.
While it seems like a lock at this point that the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia will consist of a DX vs Brothers Of Destruction match, event more thought is being focused on what is to come for Michaels.
Wrestle Votes is now reporting that Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker is currently planned. The events in question could be Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble event. Only time will tell which pay-per-view they decide to put this huge match, but it will certainly be the end of an era if it goes down.

In case you were wondering, we reported on September 7th via Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast as Joe Peisich said:

“I have heard there are ideas for him to wrestle up to 5 matches but not with The Undertaker. 1 with The Undertaker, 1 with AJ Styles, 1 with somebody in NXT most likely Johnny Gargano, and now I have heard from a source that there is talk of him facing off against Kevin Owens.”

Let’s see if WWE will make the other dream matches for HBK become a reality. After all, things seem to be working out the way Barnburner reported so far.
