It looks like UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will be fighting Brock Lesnar eventually, but we just don’t know when that fight is going to go down just yet. Either way, both guys are obviously expecting for the battle to go down.
Lesnar rushed the Octagon after UFC 226 and shoved Cormier before he cut a profanity-filled promo about the UFC Heavyweight Division including Daniel Cormier. Fans really can’t wait to see this fight go down, but it won’t happen until at least January after Lesnar’s USADA suspension has run its course.
It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a fight between Lesnar and Cormier hasn’t been put to paper just yet. But, just because a deal hasn’t been signed doesn’t mean they aren’t preparing for an inevitable war in the Octagon.
It was noted that Lesnar is training with a fight with Cormier in mind. Only time will tell when an actual fight will happen, but it looks pretty much like a certainty at this point. They just need to set a date when the time comes.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
