Brock Lesnar isn’t around and since there’s no champion on Raw anymore Paul Heyman would probably rather watch the commercials. Because Heyman recently tweeted out that at this point the commercials are more interesting than Raw itself.
Lesnar has a very big decision to make this week regarding his future plans which could have caused WWE to scrap their Extreme Rules main event. Then again, maybe all of this is part of the plan.
Heyman responded to a tweet asking if The Advocate was really watching Raw like everyone else then why isn’t he tweeting about the commercials. Because everyone seemed to be tweeting about the commercials during last night’s show which included Lana and Rusev in a Dollar General commercial, a rifle that shoots bugs with salt, and Rey Mysterio’s big WWE 2k19 commercial among others.
Paul Heyman tweeted back staying: “Blunt answer to your interratory: Because when RAW is built around CHALLENGERS (aka “wannabes”) instead of a once-ever athlete (Brock Lesnar) and his humble Advocate, the commercials are actually the best part of the show!”
Let’s see if things change soon but WWE does like to feature their advertisements.
