While not exactly surprising, the purple branded division will no longer be getting any T.V. time during the weekly flagship show on Monday nights. To be fair, Raw has enough problems cramming all of its talent into their overlong three hour time slot that attempting to squeeze in the cruiserweights seemed like a bad idea in the first place. Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer tweeted out what most of us had nearly confirmed for ourselves.

I think it’s also fair to say that 205 Live has improved dramatically with Drake Maverick at the helm as General Manager, Cedric Alexander as champion, and a much needed focus on in-ring action as opposed to the silly storyline angles they ran during the show’s inception.

Will you miss seeing the Crusier’s on Monday Nights Ringsiders? (Probably not, but I just thought I’d ask. )
