The Rock and WrestleMania go together like extra chunky peanut butter and jelly. But The Rock hasn’t been able to work on the Grandest Stage Of Them all for a while because he is in so many movies and those studios spend a lot of money on insurance for him.

But it looks like The Rock very well could be stopping into the Superdome for WrestleMania 34 if Bryan Alvarez’s belief is correct which he shared on Wrestling Observer Live.

“Well, you’re not advertising The Rock being there so there would be no reason, you could put him in there if you wanted to […] I do think that The Rock is going to be at WrestleMania. I think The Rock and Elias are going to do a segment together and they’re going to do a concert.”

Bryan Alvarez continued and explained that he believes Dwayne Johnson has received approval to take part in Mania from his movie studio overlords who put a lot of money in his name. But The Great One might not be necessarily working a match.

“I don’t think The Rock got clearance to wrestle but I think he got clearance to do the show and I think that’s what is going to happen. We’ll see but I do think he’ll be a big surprise there.”

It might be nice to see someone get a Rock Bottom and People’s Elbow in NOLA this Sunday, and while it’s not out of the realm of possibility just yet don’t hold your breath on The Rock wrestling a full-fledged match.
