No Plans for WrestleMania Fatal 5-Way Intercontinental Championship Match

While taking calls on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez was asked about Justin Barrasso’s claim that WWE is booking Fatal 5-Way for the Intercontinental Championship title at WrestleMania this year. That match would see The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Braun Strowman vs. Elias.

Bryan Alvarez said there were no plans as of Monday for a Fatal 5-Way for the Intercontinental Championship. Alvarez mentioned that he’s heard of the ladder match rumors for the title and they could easily add the Strowman and Elias to the match but the plan as of Monday was for Miz vs. Rollins vs. Balor for the Intercontinental title.

“They could easily add the other guys. I have heard that they talked about having a ladder match,” Alvarez said.
