Women’s Title Changing Hands Before The Rumble?

As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, Asuka defeated Alexa Bliss in a non-title match.

Dave Meltzer discussed the match on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and speculated that WWE is building towards putting the RAW Women’s Championship on Asuka and it could happen before The Royal Rumble pay-per-view event later this month. Meltzer explained that when they do put the title on Asuka, she will not be involved in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Many would suggest that Bliss would invoke her rematch clause at The Royal Rumble event against Asuka.
