WWE Planning for Standalone 205 Live Events Next Year

WWE is moving forward with plans to have the first-ever 205 Live brand live events starting next year.

PWInsider reports that the company plans to have the 205 Live brand hit the road with their own standalone shows between January 18th and January 20th, 2018. WWE will target smaller venues for these shows in the Northeast for that weekend, possibly the same venues they utilize for the NXT brand.

The project is being considered “experimental” as they only plan to run 2-3 events over a weekend, once a month. Nothing right now is being considered outside of January and potential February dates, as nothing is “set in stone” yet.
