Rumors On A Special Guest Referee For Jinder Mahal vs. Brock Lesnar At Survivor Series

As earlier reported, there are rumors of having John Cena as special guest referee for Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal at Survivor Series, however it looks like Cena is not yet fully confirmed to be the one wearing the black and white striped shirt for the event.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, “it isn’t a lock” that Cena is the referee for the Survivor Series main event. WWE is considering other people for the role too.

Meltzer maintains that Cena would most likely end up being the referee for the event because he isn’t sure whether the other stars that are being considered will agree for the role. The plan for the referee is to have someone with an “intriguing” personality like Brock Lesnar. Undertaker and Goldberg were some names that were discussed, but according to Meltzer they will probably not be considered.
