Predicting the Winners of Each Match at SummerSlam

Summerslam is mere days away and the anticipation is rife. A card filled with some great match-ups is sure to set the Barclay’s centre alight. A monstrous main event tops off a card filled with matches of both the intriguing and high potential variety. Title matches and grudge matches fill up the card while stories unfold and briefcase holders lurk in the shadows.

While some matches may seem predictable, others are far less easy to call. WWE has some huge decisions to make this Sunday which could help shape WWE going into 2018. What Vince McMahon wants this Sunday remains in the insanely genius mind of the man himself. However I can take a good try at predicting what he wants on August 20th. With that this list runs through my predictions for Summerslam 2017.

Big Cass vs Big Show

This feud has went seriously downhill since Great Balls of Fire. What started off as an entertaining story with fantastic promo’s and great moments has descended into strange booking and lacklustre programming. Things did take a strange if not intriguing turn this Monday however with the inclusion of the club. Why they assisted Cass is still unclear but we will see in the coming weeks.

The inclusion of the Club in this feud along with Enzo being in a shark cage guarantees shenanigans. Whatever the backstage heat on Enzo or Cass is WWE clearly has some faith in the latter. Perhaps pairing Cass with the Club is the best thing for him but only time will tell. It is very hard to imagine WWE putting Big Show over here. Show’s career is rapidly winding down and this feud is clearly just a way to put Cass over. The younger giant going over is one of the safest bets for this card.

The combination of the Club and Enzo (whether inadvertently or not) will cause Show to lose. Cass will capitalize with a big boot for the 1-2-3.

Result: Big Cass Wins With An Assist
