Paige Could Be Fired Over Airport Incident

There is a chance that Paige could lose her job with WWE over a recent airport incident.

As previously noted, Alberto El Patron is no longer being invested in the incident at the airport that saw Paige throwing a drink on her boyfriend after an argument. Paige is now the one under investigation and it’s all up to the District Attorney if they want to press charges against her or not.

Dave Meltzer discussed the incident on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer indicated Paige could lose her job with WWE if they do decide to pursuit charges and she’s found guilty. Meltzer mentioned that she already has two strikes against her and the only reason that she is still employed by WWE is because of the upcoming film with The Rock. The belief is that if it was anyone else with two strikes, they would be gone by now.

As of Friday, Alberto El Patron remains suspended by Global Force Wrestling for this incident. Meltzer expects El Patron to be reinstated soon.
