This year’s Royal Rumble event is going to set the record for most number of works ever on a pay-per-view show. The event is set to have 30 men and 30 women compete in Royal Rumble matches, as well as the other matches announced for the card. There should be anywhere between 72 and 78 talents working the actual event, depending on which matches get pushed or announced for the Kickoff Pre-show.

The record was previously held by WCW’s World War III event which had a 60 man Battle Royal once, and WrestleMania 30 which booked 60 people for the event.
