Charlotte Flair is the SmackDown Women’s Champion and she’s a babyface that gets booed when people would rather see Becky Lynch with the strap. After all, Lynch got a huge pop after she beat Flair down after their match at SummerSlam.
On the other side of the roster on SD Live, Asuka was in a position not too long ago where it looked like she was going to turn bad too. But now that Lynch turned, it looks like WWE doesn’t want to go to the well too often. Bryan Alvarez discussed this situation on Wrestling Observer Live where he said that he is convinced a double turn could be on the way.

“They were going to turn Asuka and they chose to turn Becky instead. Now Becky, them changing their mind is irrelevant to the rest of that story. Asuka was going to turn and they decided to turn Becky Lynch instead. Obviously, that whole thing backfired.”
“Yes, if they are going to keep her as a babyface then they could still turn Asuka. But I believe and I will stand by this until the show occurs and it doesn’t happen that you’re going to see a double turn at Hell In A Cell.”

It could be interesting to see Charlotte Flair go full-heel while Lynch remains a fan favorite. After all, if a post-match beat down and a bunch of heel promos since didn’t convince people that Becky Lynch is a heel, then maybe there’s just no way to get that done right now.
