WWE has something special when it comes to Velveteen Dream. He’s not the same guy as he was in Tough Enough at all. But as Velveteen Dream he keeps delivering in the ring.

Brad Shepard discussed Velveteen Dream’s performance at NXT TakeOver: Chicago during Backstage In WWE where he discussed WWE’s possible plans for calling Dream up to the main roster. Apparently, it’s something that has almost happened already.

“They’ve considered it for a while but it’s always kind of timing and is he ready sort of a thing. But I really think that he’s just got to go up to the main roster at this point and start to learn. If he could get 5 or 10 years learning with the best in the world that when he hits his peak his prime he’s just going to be phenomenal.”

“He’s obviously going to be on the main roster by next year. He has too much to offer the main roster I think.

It was noted how Velveteen Dream already outshines many members of the main roster when it comes to understanding his own character. Maybe it will only be a matter of time before everyone is saying The Dream’s name on the main roster.
