How Much Is Rey Mysterio Being Paid for Indie Bookings?

As previously reported, Dave Meltzer was asked during Wrestling Observer Live whether fans should expect Mysterio back in WWE after his NJPW match so he could be back in time for SummerSlam. Dave mentioned that there was no deal as of a week ago.

“There was no deal made as of a week ago. It certainly is something talked about. I think the general feeling was around September because he’s got commitments all Summer long he wanted to keep.”

Meltzer also revealed that Mysterio is being paid around $10-$20,000 per wrestling appearance.

“Rey is getting somewhere between ten and twenty grand a show.”
