Speculation on Ronda Rousey Appearing In The Royal Rumble

Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that everyone involved in the women’s Royal Rumble match is wanting to know exactly what’s going on. Many “sense” that Ronda Rousey will be debuting in the match and possibly winning it.

Meltzer discussed the spot that saw Asuka dominating the other women on Monday’s RAW, and it seems to suggest that she won’t be winning The Rumble as WWE usually doesn’t telegraph their outcomes in that manner.

On scenario presented is that Rousey could appear in the match along with Asuka and be the last two competitors. Rousey would throw Asuka over to win and then in the weeks following, Asuka could be Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s Championship, setting up a title match against Rousey at WrestleMania 34.
