Elias In Trouble for Jacking The Undertaker's Move?

Elias In Trouble for Jacking The Undertaker’s Move?

As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, Elias used The Undertaker’s “Old School” move prior to his win over Apollo Crews. This had a lot of people on social media talking about the spot.

Former WWE Superstar Bubba Ray Dudley took to his Twitter account speculating that Elias may be in trouble with The Undertaker.

Bubba wrote, “I “rolled my eyes” on #Raw once and got a call from the Deadman the next day. Elias is in BIG trouble!!”

It’s worth pointing out that Michael Cole knew of the spot, as he mentioned while Elias was performing it that “it’s time to walk with Elias”, which would indicate he has WWE approval on using the move.

Can’t believe this character is getting over so much

    • Khalid Mobley

      Yes really!

    • Tony Ragoni

i can. He’s got a great look, gimmick, charisma, and size. The complete opposite of Finn Balor. NXT used him wrong and the main roster is actually using him right

      • Possible

/shrug. I never thought sheamus was gonna get over at first either. Couldn’t care less about Finn unless he’s a member of the club as a group. Good for Elias tho. I wouldn’t have bet on it is all

    • ScottyPNR

He’s horrible and he’s not that great in the ring.

    • Dave Johnston

He reminds me of Macho Man with his look and the way he carries his character. Ya ya, you all gonna say, WTF, but if you put your stupid thoughts aside. look at him, think of Macho Man fighting in jeans, size and look wise, they are very similar. So go ahead, start the usual BS comments back. Have fun.

      • Possible

Lol wth dude? You have your right to that opinion, I don’t see it exactly like that, but I don’t completely disagree either with your points. What’s with the hostility tho heh?

        • Dave Johnston

When someone posts something like this, people tend to go overboard on their replies. I really don’t care if someone has a different opinion on it than me. That is their opinion. It is just that some people have a habit of going overboard and stuff. MO only..

      • Joshua Bosley

That’s actually a decent comparison man.

      • Kaiser

Sure they have similarities about their look. Not seeing it much otherwise though.

And I don’t know what you’re so insanely-bitter about, but clearly someone here recently triggered you to an extreme. If you can’t emotionally handle reading others’ negative comments, you really shouldn’t be posting to begin with.

        • Dave Johnston

I can handle it, I was just stating a fact. When someone posts something like this, people tend to go overboard on their replies. I really don’t care if someone has a different opinion on it than me. That is their opinion. It is just that some people have a habit of going overboard and stuff. MO only..

@disqus_HBpim43xD1:disqus: Your opinions are the worse than those of Hitler, Stalin, and every gay pedo in the world combined. Kill yourself you fat piece of shit.

Just kidding, I don’t believe any of that. Just seemed that’s what you were looking for as a response, so there you go!

        • Dave Johnston

          lol

I want to start off by saying I like Elias. He’s pretty talented in that he can actually play the guitar, he can ‘sing’ well enough to pull off the character, and he seems to do pretty well at getting reactions from the crowd. As far as what BRD said, I am totally taking that as a joke. I mean like he’s being sarcastic. The spot was most definitely approved, you could tell from Cole saying the name of the move, ‘Walk with Elias.’

If you want to question whether Elias deserves to add such a move to his repertoire think about this for a second. The move itself is not fantastically powerful or match ending. It isn’t used by anyone on the active roster (1 match a year doesn’t count as active). The move incites reactions from the crowd, both from fans of Taker and new fans alike. Last, but not least, is that the move itself is very easy to counter, so Elias will use it but no doubt in big matches against tough opponents it will be countered and cause him more pain than it helps.

  • Khalid Mobley

Truly hope undertaker returns for one more match to put Elias to rest in peace!

  • Erick Schreiber

    Is anyone having Facebook issues?

Is it just me or things going wonky today?

  • Erick Schreiber

Why would he get in trouble for using the move anyway? Its not like it was a finishing move.

And it makes sense the way Cole called it. Time to go on a walk with Elias. Freakin awesome.

If he would just change the singing, instead of dissing the town, he should be dissing his opponent. (Like The Rock used to do with Vickie Guerrero)
