Undertaker Mentions on RAW Leading to Possible Return?

During the mailbag segment of today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about the recent mentions of The Undertaker on WWE television and if this was an indication that they may bring him back in the near future.

Meltzer said he doesn’t know for sure if the mentions are an indication of return for The Undertaker, but if he was to return it would probably be at WrestleMania next year to get revenge on Roman Reigns. That’s if WWE does decide to change their mind about The Undertaker’s retirement.

He has sat in many interviews once he gets his hips done he’s done the poor guy has given 25 plus years to this business let him retire Jesus Christ what Vince McMahon is getting scared that he’s not going to be able to sell WrestleMania 34 he’s gotta move on this guy is 50 years old what do you want this guy to be 60 and still wrestling he deserves to sit in front of his house enjoy his fruits of his labor and enjoy his children and his wife and that when it comes time to put him in the Hall of Fame which will happen then it would be sweeter for him to come back stop trying to get them to come out of retirement you all should be ashamed of yourself as his fats I mean it’s going to feel weird without him at WrestleMania but I’ve made peace with it the rest of you should

I agree with you. But unfortunately if Vince thought he could get The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan at WM34 he would go for it. And neither one belong in the ring anymore.

      • Possible

I agree he should be done. But if he could go out with hogan to bring it all back around to the beginning, not sure I would mind. Some nostalgia is just worth it sometimes in my opinion. Plenty of times when wrestling hasn’t been about the wrestling, one more isn’t gonna kill anyone

Yeah and what a way to go…Shit on his legacy by making him lose to a guy who no one has any faith in…#FUCKYOUWWE

Ultimately it’s Taker’s decision, not Vince’s. Vince will always ask “hey, do you wanna?” But if Taker wants to go, he’ll go. If he doesn’t, he’ll refuse. In the end, it’s up to him. If Taker is returning, then he’s made that decision to return.

Oh no, just flat out no. The man needs to stay retired, he has nothing left to prove or give to rhe buisness and all that will end up happening is he will taint his legacy. The moment after his match with roman was utterly perfect. It was a beautiful well deserved moment, I loved how they retired him

just do a sting taker face off teaser @ 34 so i can die happy please wwe !!

they should do that match both being late in their careers and both knowing how to work a match while keeping each other from serious injury while entertaining the fans. no one would expect them from 15 years ago but almost need to see this. the match would have to end in a draw though. both have proved everything they need to but I think this is why sting hasn’t had his surgery yet, hoping for this match. before joining the wwe he was asked what match he wanted and even last year he said taker and then done.

      • Possible

There’s just never been, or never will be enough respect for sting to make this happen, ever I think. He will always be an outsider to them.

Oh no doubt, Sting did a sit down interview on one of those JBL interview things on the network and he was asked why it took him so long to sign with the WWE. He said he was afraid they wanted to change his character, name and other stuff just for most of the licensing money. It looked like he wanted to say, the told him if he signed, they were gonna change him up enough so they get most of the money off his image. Vince has never had respect for him, otherwise he would’ve never let him go to TNA or stay more than 1 contract. Hunter too has no respect because if Sting would’ve come over, HE would’ve been the big draw for that age group of stars over Hunter. Ric Flair said that had Sting been in the WWE when Hogan was around doing his crap, Hogan would’ve NEVER been the top dog, it would of coarse be Sting. When he was the top guy in WCW, he never used his status like Hogan, Hunter and Cena do to get matches they want, sell who they want, keep guys down. I don’t think there is anybody in any organization that Sting worked for that has a bad word to say about him. I think if they did do the Taker/Sting match and either have Sting win or like I suggested a draw, that might go a little way of repairing some of the fans with the WWE pushing The Rocks family over more talented wrestlers, male of female.

Indeed, apparently being a generally nice guy and showing loyalty, even to another company, and doing it for years, doesn’t mean jack to some people. It’s pretty horrible

They should have him come out on RAW announce hes really retired and have Stings music play and him standing on the entrance stage yea late in their careers but it would be pretty cool I think.
