Zayda Steel has officially decided to part ways with WWE. The 21-year-old star announced that she won’t be renewing her WWE ID contract, bringing an end to her time with the company’s developmental system.

In a post shared on social media, Zayda explained that while she’s thankful for everything she learned in WWE, she’s ready to focus on what’s best for her future.

“I’ve decided not to renew my WWE ID contract. I’m incredibly grateful for all the knowledge, experience, and opportunities I’ve gained along the way, but at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for me. I’m only 21, and have already done so much, but I’m just getting started! Thank you.”

Zayda Steel became a recognizable face on WWE EVOLVE, performing as part of the Vanity Project faction. She also made history earlier this year by competing in the first-ever WWE ID Women’s Title match against Kylie Rae and Zara Zahker. Although Rae won the bout, the title was later vacated following her pregnancy announcement.

Zayda’s departure marks another shift in WWE’s developmental, as several up-and-coming stars continue to reassess their futures amid WWE’s evolving talent system. At just 21, she’s already built an impressive resume, and her statement suggests she’s far from done in the wrestling world.

There’s no word yet on where she’ll head next, but given her age, charisma, and growing fanbase, it’s clear Zayda Steel’s story in wrestling is only beginning.
