Zaria has no problem saying it — she believes she’s ready to leave NXT behind and take her shot on WWE’s main roster.
The NXT Women’s North American Champion made that clear during an appearance on Busted Open After Dark with Bully Ray. The subject came up after Ray asked Zaria to name her dream WrestleMania opponent, and she immediately pointed to Rhea Ripley. Zaria explained that the matchup already has a built-in story because both women came out of Adelaide, South Australia, and Riot City Wrestling.
“I feel like I don’t even need to say it. I think everybody knows what I’m gonna say, and that’s Rhea Ripley. We both come from the same city, the same country, and the same wrestling promotion. The story’s just right there. WrestleMania moment. That’s it.”
Bully Ray agreed that the story was already there, then immediately turned the conversation toward Zaria’s WWE future. He asked her point blank whether she would be ready if the call came to move up to RAW or SmackDown. Zaria didn’t dance around the question for a second.
“Yes, absolutely. I mean, you know, I gotta do something about this, but I’m absolutely ready. More than ready.”
That’s a pretty clear message from Zaria. She’s holding gold in NXT, she already has a WrestleMania dream opponent waiting on the main roster, and she believes there’s nothing stopping her from making the jump whenever WWE decides the time is right.
Zaria may still have business to handle in NXT, but she clearly isn’t looking at the brand as the final destination. If WWE comes calling with a RAW or SmackDown spot, she says she’s ready to go.
