Zack Clayton just pulled off a major swerve, but this one had nothing to do with a wrestling ring.
The pro wrestler, whose real name is Zack Carpinello, married Jenni “JWoww” Farley in a surprise wedding that guests did not see coming. Everyone thought they were showing up for a screening of JWoww’s movie Nanny Cam, but the night turned into something much bigger.
JWoww told PEOPLE that the surprise reaction from their family and friends made the moment even better.
“Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they’re attending a special screening for ‘Nanny Cam’ to realizing they’re actually at our wedding will be a moment we’ll never forget.”
Clayton has been active on the wrestling scene for years. He regularly competed for ACW in New York and BRCW in Florida, and he has also worked matches for AEW, ROH, and TNA during his career.
JWoww is best known for starring on Jersey Shore, where she became one of the most recognizable names from the MTV reality show’s original run and later spinoffs.
The couple has been together since 2019 and got engaged in 2021. Now, after years together, they officially tied the knot in a way that gave their guests a real-life plot twist.
This was a pretty creative way to pull off a wedding, especially with everyone walking in thinking they were just there for a movie screening. Zack Clayton and JWoww made sure their big day came with a surprise finish nobody in the room will forget.
