Sean Waltman is leaving Los Angeles behind and heading home to Minnesota. The former WWE star better known as X-Pac announced on August 7, 2026, that he’s making the move so he can spend more time with his children and grandson.
Waltman broke the news on X/Twitter while saying goodbye to Los Angeles. After living away from Minnesota, the WWE Hall of Famer made it clear that family is now pulling him back home.
“I’m moving back to MN today. I’m going to miss you LA, but it’s time to go be near my children & grandson.”
It’s a major personal move for Waltman, who was born in Minneapolis and began his wrestling career in Minnesota before eventually becoming one of the most recognizable stars of WWE’s Attitude Era. Waltman became a major part of WWE history as X-Pac and was also a member of D-Generation X and the New World Order. Those runs ultimately earned him two WWE Hall of Fame inductions as part of both groups.
Now, at 54 years old, Waltman is heading back to where his story started. This move isn’t about wrestling, another comeback or some big career change—he simply wants to be closer to his family.
