X-Pac discusses last Saturday’s NXT Takeover event. He thought the opening match of the night was tremendous, but somehow every match on the card was seemingly able to follow the match prior. Velveteen Dream and Ricochet followed the opening tag match wonderfully, and although he was concerned about Shayna Baszler and Nikki Cross’ ability to keep the momentum rolling, they proved him wrong with a fantastic match.

He also enjoyed the NXT Title match between Aleister Black and Lars Sullivan. Regarding the botched spot where Black completely missed with his spin kick, X-Pac says that shit happens sometimes. He actually thought this was the main event of the show for a while until he remembered that the Gargano/Ciampa match was still to come.

He thought Gargano and Ciampa told a fantastic story, and he’s fairly sure that Ciampa is the hottest heel in wrestling right now. Overall, he thought this was an amazing show.

Moving onto Money in the Bank, X-Pac praises the work of Ronda Rousey in her first singles match in WWE. He points out that she’s already very good at a lot of the details that are required from professional wrestlers. Her facial expressions were on point specifically when she was selling, and the emotion she showed during her comeback was terrific. X-Pac notes that those skills are very tough to teach, and Rousey simply has “it”.
