X-Pac 1, 2, 360 Recap w/ Drew McIntyre – Working in 3MB & WWE Release, Returning to NXT, Dream Match vs. A.J. Styles, More!

When McIntyre left WWE a couple of years ago he had a clear vision of what he wanted to accomplish. He knew he wanted to return to Scotland and reinvent himself, where he could be a part of growing the business which was very important to him. After doing that, he was ready to return to WWE and finish what he started several years ago.

McIntyre admits that there was only performer who he wanted to work with on the indie scene that he didn’t have an opportunity to have a match with, and that was A.J. Styles. Now that they’re both working for the same company, and with the help of future Superstar shake-ups, he believes it’s only a matter of time before he has a match with Styles.

McIntyre mentions that NXT Takeover: Brooklyn this coming Friday will be his first Takeover with the brand, and he’s in the main event with Bobby Roode. A lot of people might consider that to be a pressure-packed environment, but he’s really looking forward to it.

He informs that Shawn Michaels is now teaching a class at the Performance Centre, and although McIntyre’s contract doesn’t require him to train at the Performance Centre, he has chosen to attend Michaels’ class for the last six weeks anyway. He considers Michaels to be one of the best in-ring technicians ever, so he had to take advantage of the opportunity to learn from Michaels.
