It’s time for the match between The Miz and Bray Wyatt. And it isn’t The Fiend, it’s actually Wyatt wrestling. In his sweater no less. His entrance is just the regular Firefly Fun House music, no decapitated head or anything. He climbs on the announce table and poses, shouting “thank you guys”. He raises the title on the apron three times, while the fans cheer.
The Miz Vs. Bray Wyatt
The match gets underway as the fans chant “Yowie Wowie”. The Miz runs at Bray and punches him. The Miz beats Wyatt down into the corner with repeated knees until the referee pulls him off.
Wyatt asks Miz to back-off but Miz kicks him over and over. He puts Wyatt’s face into the ropes but Bray laughs. Miz pulls the cardigan over Bray’s head and continues beating on him. Wyatt finally grabs Miz by the face and throws him into the corner. But Miz comes back with more kicks to Bray, followed by running knees in the corner, followed by a clothesline.
Wyatt grabs him for Sister Abigail but Miz counters with a Skull Crushing Finale but doesn’t go for the cover. Miz slams Bray’s face into the mat over and over but Wyatt laughs. The Miz twists Bray’s arms but he continues to laugh, so Miz snaps it back. Bray was shouting “do it!” Bray rolls from the ring and pops his shoulder back into place using the barricade.
Miz goes after Wyatt and slams him into the announce table, then the rings steps. Miz runs at Wyatt against the barricade but Bray throws him into the timekeeper’s area. Bray looks mad and drags Miz over the barricade to hit a hanging Sister Abigail. Bray poses on the floor and smiles, before getting into the ring.
Miz gets back inside at the count of nine. Bray tells him to “stop”, then hits a second Sister Abigail for the win.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
They said that match wasn’t for the Universal Championship but the referee showed it to both men at the start, and the announcer said “and still your Champion”.
After the match, we see The Fiend on the Titantron and Wyatt looks scared. Bray says “OK, I’ll do it.” He goes outside and grabs the big mallet he had in Hell In A Cell from under the ring. Wyatt is about to use the mallet but the lights go down and the music plays. They come back up but it isn’t The Fiend…it’s Daniel Bryan!
A freshly shaven Daniel Bryan drops Wyatt with a running knee. The fans chant for Bryan, who kicks the crap out of Wyatt in the corner, followed by running dropkicks, and another running knee! Bryan grabs the arms and stomps Bray’s head over and over, then lifts the mallet and is about to use it when the lights go out. The lights return and Wyatt is gone. Bryan smashes the mallet into the mat, then poses on the ropes. Bryan looks at the Universal Championship Wyatt left behind before leaving.
