Kayla Braxton is backstage with The Miz, who looks surprisingly happy. She asks how Monroe is and The Miz says she’s fine. He says that, after what happened, he has moved his family to an undisclosed location. Braxton asks if Miz is worried about what happens after facing Bray Wyatt, but The Miz asks if it really matters. He says all that matters is facing him. This is the most important and personal match of his life. He isn’t fighting as The Miz, a WWE Superstar, he’s fighting as a man protecting his family. And he’s willing to face anyone…or anything.
Immediately following TLC, the greatest of all-time, Stone Cold Steve Austin, interviews Goldberg in the second episode of the Broken Skull Sessions.
King Corbin comes to the ring, carried on his throne by a few lackies. Said lackies then form a barrier on the ramp. Reigns comes out and the lackies run at him but he throws one off the stage, and puts another through a table.
Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match
Roman Reigns Vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin runs at Reigns on the ramp and the referee rings the bell. Roman drops him with an uppercut and tosses Corbin into the LED stage. Reigns throws Corbin off the stage and beats him through the crowd. They brawl in and around the fans until Roman throws him over the barricade by the announce tables.
Reigns slams Corbin into the steel steps, into the announce table, then puts him in the ring. Reigns runs at Corbin but gets his with Deep Six for a near-fall. Corbin unloads on Reigns with right hands on the mat, then poses like Roman. Corbin launches Reigns shoulder-first into the ring post and the big dog falls to the floor.
Baron slams Reigns into the barricade, then puts him back in the ring. Reigns delivers an uppercut but Corbin fires back with a knee. Corbin hits the out-and-in clothesline for a two-count. The King takes Roman to the outside but he gets whipped into the barricade twice. Reigns puts Corbin in the ring and starts to climb in but Corbin kicks the ropes into his groin.
On the outside, Corbin slings Roman into the steps, then lifts a table and sets it back down to the boos of the fans. Corbin does lift a ladder though and drive into the gut of Roman Reigns. The King puts the big dog back in the ring and grabs a chair. He cracks Roman across the back with the chair, then again. He sets the ladder between two buckles and looks to whip Roman into them but Reigns counters him and delivers an uppercut.
Roman batters Corbin in the corner with lariats, then drops him with a big boot. Corbin looks for the chokeslam but Reigns fights out. Corbin looks for the out-and-in clothesline again but Reigns ducks it, only to get caught with a chokeslam backbreaker. Corbin mocks Reigns and looks for a spear but gets kicked. Roman then throws Corbin into the wedged steel chair, followed by a Superman punch for a near-fall.
The fans chant for tables, so Roman goes out and gets one. He sets it up in the ring but Corbin rolls out. Roman goes after Corbin, but gets cracked with a can of dog food, then Corbin chokeslams him through the table for a near-fall. Corbin leaves the ring and clears the announce table, then the German one as well.
Corbin drags Roman from the ring and puts him on the announce table. He stands on it himself and looks to powerbomb Reigns through the adjacent table but Roman lifts him and hits a Samoan drop through it! Both men slowly climb to their feet and Corbin uses the barricade to get up. Roman gets pumped-up and takes the long way around the ring to spear him…but Dolph Ziggler comes out from under the ring with a superkick to Roman!
Corbin lifts the timekeeper and throws him like a ragdoll over the barricade. Ziggler punches him, then Corbin stomps him, while the announcers ask what the timekeeper did. Corbin and Ziggler grab cans of dog food from under the ring but before they can pour it on the timekeeper, Roman hits them both with a drive-by kick. Roman grabs a Kendo stick from under the ring and beats Corbin’s security with it.
Dawson and Wilder come running down and attack Reigns. They beat him with the Kendo stick. They have taped ribs. Roman drops them both with Superman punches, then clotheslines Corbin to the outside. Reigns floors everyone at ringside with a dive over the ropes!
Roman puts Corbin back inside and looks for a Spear but gets smashed in the face with a chair by Ziggler. Dolph follows-up with a Zig-Zag, then teams with The Revival to hit a Shatter Machine. Corbin lifts Roman and hits an End of Days onto a chair for the win.
Winner: Baron Corbin
