The Countdown To WWE SummerSlam Saturday Pre-Show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us. Cole then narrates the arrivals of WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER, CM Punk and “Main Event” Jey Uso and introduces his co-hosts for the show Wade Barrett and Big E.

The panel then runs through the card for tonight’s PLE. Cole then confirms that the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match between GUNTHER and CM Punk will main event night one of SummerSlam and the opening match will be Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg are in Metlife Stadium and they talk about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match. Cathy Kelley and Byron Saxton are in the parking lot and they talk about the Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Match.

Megan Morant and Sam Roberts then discuss the WWE Women’s Championship Match.

The panel then discusses the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match between GUNTHER and CM Punk.

The panel then discusses the WWE Women’s Championship Match between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill. Tiffany Stratton is then interviewed by Byron Saxton and he asks her about the match. Stratton says she is super nervous because no one else has Cargill’s potential or power. Stratton then says she will prove that she is the future and the now when she walks out as champion.

The panel then discusses the Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Match and Jackie Redmond discusses some stats about SummerSlam.

We then take a look at the WWE SummerSlam Super Store.

Joe Tessitore is now on the loading dock and he talks about the importance of this region for WWE.

The panel then discusses the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match between The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez) and “The Queen” Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Sam Roberts is then interviewing Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez and he asks them about their opponents. Perez says the people are idiots. Perez then says Flair and Bliss have never been tag team champions together. They then wonder if Flair can work with anyone. Perez says they will be champions at the end of the night.

Peter Rosenberg then talks about the fans who sit in the nosebleed seats and Byron Saxton is with some fans to get their picks on tonight’s matches.

Jackie Redmond then joins the panel and Peter Rosenberg joins the panel as well while Michael Cole and Wade Barrett head into the stadium to prepare for commentary. The panel then talks about the Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre Match.

We then see Jackie Redmond interviewing Jelly Roll earlier in the week. Redmond brings up how they filmed a commercial together for SummerSlam and how he is now wrestling at SummerSlam. Roll says he was not ready to be in a match last year, but look at him now. Redmond then asks Roll what would 13 year old Jelly Roll think about being told he had a match at SummerSlam. Roll then says he would probably be out of his mind. Roll then says he would go to the Municipal Auditorium so that child would be excited to be wrestling. Redmond then asks Roll why he is doing this with everything he already has. Roll says it is about believing in yourself and wanting to be part of this moment in wrestling. Roll then says he is not here to take anything away from anyone. Roll then says he was excited to be involved in SummerSlam and he asked for a match if he could lose the weight. Roll then says Triple H said if he can get healthy, he is welcome to have a match. Roll then says this has awoken something in him. Roll then says he lost hundreds of pounds for this opportunity. Roll then says he never lifted a weight in his life. Roll then says he has no athletic background. Roll then says he is learning so much about his body. Roll then says he had to quit running from what scared him and he had to run towards it. Roll then says he has been successful over the last five years, but he was morbidly obese. Roll then says he was afraid of change. Roll then says he is not dying, he is living now. Roll then says he never felt this alive. Roll then says this lit a fire in him.

Druski then joins the panel and he is asked if he is going to get in the ring. Druski then talks about the experience being up close at WrestleMania.

We then get a video package looking at the Jey Uso and Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Match and some discussion from the panel. Redmond then says tonight’s WWE SummerSlam Saturday will kick off with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Byron Saxton then talks about what the fans are wearing and Jackie Redmond mentions that AAA’s TripleMania will be on the WWE’s YouTube channel on August 16th.

We then see video footage of Triple H at the White House. Joe Tessitore then walks through Gorilla position and talks to Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Triple H is asked how does he juggle it and Triple H says you put one foot in front of the other and just do it. Triple H then says there will be about 50,000 fans tonight and it will be great. Tessitore then asks Triple H about WWE Unreal and his reaction. Triple H says the response has been incredible. Triple H then says it is a look behind the scenes at the people who perform in the ring and the people who get us there. Triple H then says we get to see people who are never usually on camera. Triple H then says you see the passion from the staff. Triple H then says a new world of fans will be watching WWE. Triple H then says what the people in the ring and behind the scenes do, it is for the fans. Triple H then says he hopes the fans will love it.

We are left with Jackie Redmond and Big E on the panel and they talk about WWE: Unreal.

We then see Cathy Kelley interview Sami Zayn and he says he is angry seeing the magnitude of this event and the championships, but what is he fighting for. Zayn then says he is trying to prove he is who he says he is. Zayn then says he has taken his eye off the ball. Zayn then tells Kross he is angry. Zayn then says do you want to see his true colors, you are looking at it. Zayn then says he will put an end to this one way or the other.

The panel then talks about the Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross Match. Redmond and Big E then talk about Kross’ book.

Big E then discusses the community outreach that WWE did in the area.

We then see Peter Rosenberg walk down to the ring.

We then get a video package looking at the numbers behind SummerSlam.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match between CM Punk and GUNTHER and some discussion from the panel. Peter Rosenberg and Byron Saxton then give their thoughts on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match.

Jackie Redmond and Big E then move into the stadium to continue their hosting duties.

We now see Peter Rosenberg in the front row with fans and Cathy Kelley sits on the ring steps and mentions the celebrity in-ring appearances.

We then see part two of Jackie Redmond’s interview with Jelly Roll. Roll says he is scared going to the PC. Roll then says he second guesses himself and he wonders why he isn’t getting everything. Undertaker then says he is impressed with Roll’s work ethic. Matt Bloom then says Roll is all in with the training. Undertaker then says people will be surprised with Roll’s performance. Roll then says this is the wildest thing he has done. Roll then says people think he has lost his mind. Roll then says he will trust his instincts and he will trust Orton. Roll then says he signed up for this because he has the right guy in his corner.

Redmond then asks Roll what does Randy Orton mean to him. Roll says he couldn’t ask for a better partner. Roll then says Orton is who we think he is. Roll then says Orton told him to be himself and he is a true mentor. Roll then says Orton is excited for this match. Redmond then asks Roll about Logan Paul. Roll says f*** Logan Paul. Roll then says Paul is the tall handsome athletic guy and in comes this fat guy who everyone loves. Roll then says Paul doesn’t appreciate someone getting his spotlight. Roll then says it felt real good to put him through the desk, but he isn’t fully satisfied. Roll then says he doesn’t want to embarrass Paul, but he wants to show Paul that he has overlooked people like him. Redmond then Roll what can we expect from him in the ring. Roll says expect a prison yard fight. Roll then says he is going back to his roots.

Stephanie McMahon then joins the panel. Jackie Redmond then asks her what impressed her about Jelly Roll. McMahon mentions his capacity to give because he didn’t have that early in his life. McMahon then says he wants to be able to provide help if he can. Big E then asks about McMahon’s questions and how they dig deeper into the person’s life. McMahon says that is what her goal is. McMahon then says she wants to know what helped people get to where they are. Big E then asks McMahon if she is planning to return to the ring. McMahon says she can’t hang with the women. McMahon then says she could be the mouthpiece. Redmond then asks McMahon about the work that WWE has done with other entertainment and sports industries. McMahon then mentions all of the people at Wrestlemania. McMahon then mentions that people come to WWE to get involved.

Peter Rosenberg then rejoins Big E and Jackie Redmond on the panel and they talked about other celebrities and how much they want to be part of WWE now.

We then get video clips from WWE: Unreal and the panel talked about Jelly Roll once again.

Joe Tessitore then walks down the ramp. Ring announcer Alicia Taylor then makes her entrance, while Tessitore speaks from ringside. Taylor tells Tessitore that this is her first SummerSlam and she is excited. Tessitore then plays up the mystery of which match will open the show. Redmond then reiterates that it will be Reigns and Uso vs. Breakker and Reed and the panel talks about the match.

The panel then talks about the matches set to take place on tonight’s show. Breland then performs “God Bless America” on the stage and the Countdown To WWE SummerSlam Saturday Pre-Show comes to a close.

WWE SummerSlam Saturday Results (8/2/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

WWE SummerSlam Saturday opens up with jets flying over the stadium. Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show and narrates the arrivals of Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Randy Orton, Jelly Roll, GUNTHER and CM Punk.

We then get a video package on SummerSlam and it is narrated by comedian Druski.

Cardi B then makes her way down to the ring as she is the host of WWE SummerSlam. Cardi B says she wants to know what is up. Cardi B then mentions that they are in the tri state area and she screams. Cardi B then says they are making history because it is the first-ever two day SummerSlam. Cardi B then welcomes everyone to SummerSlam.

Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of SummerSlam Saturday and Roman Reigns, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman then follow.

Tag Team Match: “The OTC1” Roman Reigns and “Main Event” Jey Uso vs. “The Unpredictable Badass” Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed

The match starts off with all four men standing in the center of the ring and they pair off and exchange punches. Jey then sends Breakker to the apron, while Reigns punches Reed from the turnbuckles. Jey then hits some shoulders in the corner and Reigns hits an uppercut on Reed. Breakker is then sent to the floor. Jey then wants to raise his arms up and down and Reigns is okay with it, but Breakker and Reed pull Roman to the floor. Jey then hits a crossbody off the turnbuckles onto everyone on the floor. Jey then delivers some punches to Breakker and follows it up with a spit uppercut. Breakker then hits a clothesline on Jey. Breakker then hits some shoulders in the corner and Reed tags in.

Breakker then goes to the floor and hits a flying shoulder tackle on Reigns when Reigns starts to get back to his feet. Reed then hits some shots to the midsection and follows it up with a back senton. Breakker then tags in and he kicks Jey in the ribs. Jey then blocks a punch and he punches Breakker, but Breakker nails Jey and delivers some shoulders on his midsection in the corner. Reed then tags in and mocks Reigns by putting up the one symbol, then hits a senton on Jey. Breakker then tags back in and hits a slam on Jey, then does a few push ups in the ring and flexes his biceps. He then wears down Jey with a submission hold, but Jey looks to tag in Reigns. Reed then pulls Reigns off the apron and Breakker holds Jey back to prevent him from making the tag.

Reed then hits a hard Irish whip. Breakker then tags in and he hits a standing power slam and he gets on Reed’s back for a double splash. Breakker then cinches in a head lock and he sings. Jey then hits some punches and Breakker catches Jey when he tries to make the tag. Breakker then hits a double knee gut buster for a near fall. Jey then goes to the floor and Breakker follows. Breakker then sets up for the clothesline off the apron onto the announce desk and Jey moves and Breakker hits the announce desk.

Jey then crawls back to the ring while Reed checks on Breakker. Jey then sends Reed to the floor and Jey is stopped by Breakker. Reed then pulls Reigns off the apron. Reigns is then sent into the ringside barrier by Reed. Breakker then sends Jey into the turnbuckles. Reed then tags in. Jey then floats over and hits a DDT and both men are down. Reigns then tags in and he clotheslines Breakker a few times. Reigns then hits a flying clothesline and he sets for clotheslines in the corner. Breakker then hits an elbow and Reigns clotheslines Breakker over the top rope to the floor. Reigns then sets for a plancha and he clears Breakker and Reed on the floor.

Breakker then gets fired up and runs the ropes as Reed tags himself in. Reigns then intercepts Breakker with a Superman Punch, but Reed runs him over and gets Reigns up on his shoulders. Jey then tags in and he hits an open palm strike on Reed, then nails him with an enzuigiri. Reed then runs over Jey with a clothesline and follows it up with a Death Valley Driver, then goes for a pin but Jey kicks out.

Breakker then tackles Reigns over one of the announce desks, then tags in. Reed then gets Jey in an Electric Chair position and Breakker flies off the middle rope to pull Jey off Reed’s shoulders. The action then spills back out of the ring and Reigns spears Breakker through one of the barricades. Reed then. climbs to the top rope, but Reigns catches him with a Superman Punch. Reigns and Jey then hit the 1D on Reed and Jey pins Reed, but Breakker breaks the fall. Breakker then looks to spear Jey, but Reigns shoves Jey out of the way as he is the legal man in the match. Jey then hits a spear and an Uso Splash on Reed for the win.

After the match, Jey places the Ula Fala around Reigns’ neck and both men celebrate their win in the ring.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match.

Charlotte Flair then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Saturday and Alexa Bliss and The Judgment Day follow.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez) (c) vs. “The Queen” Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss

The match starts off with Charlotte Flair wanting to begin and Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez attack Alexa Bliss and Flair. They then send Flair to the floor and Perez sends Bliss into the turnbuckles and kicks her. Bliss then hits a head scissors take down and Flair tags in and she clotheslines Perez and kicks Rodriguez off the apron. Perez then hits a reverse chin lock and Flair backs her into the turnbuckles to escape. Perez then distracts the referee and Rodriguez hits a clothesline from the apron. Perez then hits some punches. Rodriguez then tags in and slams Flair’s head into the mat. Flair then hits a chop and Rodriguez responds with a forearm. Flair then does the Flair flip and she kicks Rodriguez and Perez. Rodriguez then hits a Samoan drop and Perez tags in. Perez then hits the Scorpio Rising for a near fall. Perez then hits windmill punches and she chokes Flair in the ropes. Rodriguez then punches Flair when the referee was not paying attention.

Rodriguez then hits some elbows to the chest, a top wrist lock and a chin bar. Flair then hits a head scissors off the turnbuckles and Perez keeps Flair from making the tag, but Flair kicks her away and Bliss tags in and hits some clotheslines and forearms on Perez. Bliss then hits some forearms and a senton for a near fall. Rodriguez then breaks up the cover and she knocks Flair off the apron, but Bliss sends Rodriguez over the top rope to the floor. Perez then gets a rollup for a near fall. Perez then escapes Sister Abigail with a rake of the eyes and she hits an elbow to the back. Perez then misses a double jump moonsault and Rodriguez tags in.

Bliss then hits a DDT on Perez and climbs to the top rope, then looks to hit Twisted Bliss on Perez. Perez then gets her knees up and Rodriguez nails Bliss, then goes for a pin but Bliss kicks out. Perez then tags in and hits a Russian Leg Sweep-big boot combination with Rodriguez. Perez then sends Bliss crashing into the mat face first and wears her down with a crossface before hitting a hair whip on her and tagging in Rodriguez. Perez then holds Bliss in place for Rodriguez to hit a boot on her midsection, then cinches in an over the shoulder Torture Tack on her.

Flair then tags in and flies off the ropes to nail Perez, then delivers some chops on both Rodriguez and Perez. She then hits a flipping clothesline on Rodriguez, then hits a Fallaway Slam on Perez and kips up. She then looks to cinch in the Figure Eight Leg Lock on Rodriguez, but Perez comes to Rodriguez’s aid. Rodriguez then goes after Flair, but Bliss looks to take out Rodriguez with a forearm. She then accidentally hits Flair, allowing Perez to sends her out of the ring and tag in. Rodriguez then hits a Texana Bomb on Flair and Perez follows it up with Pop Rox. She then goes for a pin, but Bliss breaks the fall. Bliss then sets up for Sister Abigail on Perez, but stops when she notices Flair staring her down. Flair then hits a big boot on Rodriguez and Bliss hits the Sister Abigail on Perez for the win.

We then go to a suite and Xavier Woods takes the final piece of pizza and everyone complains. Kofi Kingston then says they deserve it because they are still in mourning. Nikki Bella then delivers more Papa John’s pizza for everyone and everyone is friends.

We then get a video package looking at the Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross Match. Karrion Kross and Scarlett then make their way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Saturday and Sami Zayn follows.

Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

The match starts off with Sami Zayn hitting some shoulders on Karrion Kross’ midsection in the corner. Kross then delivers some right hands on Zayn, then pulls him off the apron as the action spills out of the ring. Zayn then flies off the barricade with a moonsault to nail Kross, but Kross hits him with a Death Valley Driver back inside the ring and goes for a pin. Zayn then kicks out.

Kross then hits a T-Bone suplex on Zayn, but Zayn responds with a couple of double ax handles on Kross off the middle rope. Kross then responds with a suplex on Zayn and goes for a pin, but Zayn kicks out. Zayn then delivers some chops on Kross in the corner, then delivers some right hands on him. Scarlett then slides Kross a lead pipe and distracts the referee. Kross then looks to use the lead pipe, but Zayn sees Kross coming and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on him. He then goes for a pin, but Kross kicks out.

Zayn then delivers some right hands on Kross, then hits some boots on the side of his head. The referee then pulls Zayn off Kross and warns him against taking things too far again. As the referee checks on Kross, Scarlett offers Zayn a lead pipe and encourages him to use it on Kross in an effort to get him to abandon his morals. Zayn then throws the pipe out of the ring and decides against using it, opening the door for Kross to roll up Zayn. Zayn then kicks out and hits an Exploder on Kross, then follows it up with a Helluva Kick for the win.

After the match, Zayn stands on the apron and looks down at Kross. Zayn then tells Kross “We’re done” before making his exit.

Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are then shown at their desk. Cole acknowledges the death of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan and says he doesn’t think there will be 53,161 in attendance at tonight’s event had it not been for Hogan. We then see still shots of Hogan, while Cole speaks about how he carried the business on his back for three decades. Nick Hogan and his wife are then shown in the crowd and the fans applaud him. “Real American” then plays as the memorial graphic is shown on the big screen.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE Women’s Championship Match.

Jade Cargill then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of SummerSlam Saturday and Tiffany Stratton follows.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. 2025 Queen of the Ring winner Jade Cargill

The match starts off with Tiffany Stratton getting a rollup for a near fall and she hits Jade Cargill with an arm drag. Stratton then offers Cargill hand, but Cargill hits her with a bicycle kick instead for a near fall. Stratton then goes to the floor and Cargill follows. Cargill then sends Stratton into the apron and ringside barrier. Cargill then hits a suplex on the floor. Cargill then breaks the count and returns to the floor. Cargill then sends Stratton back into the ring. Cargill then poses, but Stratton hits her with a hip to send Cargill to the floor and she follows it up with a plancha.

Stratton then goes up top and she hits a swanton for a near fall. Cargill then catches Stratton when she goes for a handspring back elbow into the corner and Cargill hits her with a back breaker. Cargill then a super kick and she gets Stratton up for a Burning Hammer and turns it into the Eye of the Storm for a near fall. Cargill then hits a splash into the corner. Stratton then avoids a bicycle kick and she gets Cargill up and hits a Finlay Slam, but Cargill pushes Stratton to the apron to stop the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Cargill then suplexes Stratton back into the ring and she holds on for a second one, but Stratton counters with a Falcon Arrow and both women are down. Cargill and Stratton then exchange forearms and chops.

Cargill then goes for a power bomb, but Stratton hits a head scissors. Stratton then hits a handspring back elbow into the corner and she cartwheels into an Alabama Slam. Cargill then gets her boots up for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Cargill then hits Jaded, but Cargill puts Stratton’s foot on the rope on the cover and the referee sees it. Stratton then uses the ropes to avoid Jaded and she gets a near fall. Cargill then hits a choke slam, then sends her crashing into the bottom turnbuckle face first and drags her up to the middle rope. Cargill then sets up for Jaded, but Stratton escapes and sends Cargill crashing into the mat. Stratton then hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.

We then get a video package looking at the Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul Match.

Logan Paul makes his way down to the ring first for the next match of SummerSlam Saturday and speaks into a camera mic while saying that he is still humble. Cole then says Paul had his first WWE match at SummerSlam three years earlier. A bunch of fans on the stadium floor then holds up “Logan Paul is an outsider” signs. Drew McIntyre then makes his way down to the ring next.

Jelly Roll then walks onto the stage while one of his songs plays. Jelly Roll then has a mic and addresses the crowd from the stage. He says he wanted to pledge allegiance to the Apex Predator. Jelly Roll then sings a line from Orton’s theme song and the fans does the same. Orton’s entrance theme then plays. Orton then makes his way out and joins Jelly Roll on the stage before they head to the ring. Jelly Roll’s wife is then shown in the crowd, while Cole plugs her podcast. Cole, who is wearing Paul’s headband, then says Jelly Roll broke a pinkie while training at the WWE Performance Center.

Tag Team Match: “The Viper” Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. “The Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre and “The Maverick” Logan Paul

The match starts off with Logan Paul nailing Jelly Roll from behind. Jelly Roll then immediately tags himself in so that he can be the one to face Paul. Orton then agrees, but Paul hits a boot on Jelly Roll’s midsection and delivers some strikes on him. Jelly Roll then hits a right hand on Paul, then follows it up with a bodyslam and an elbow drop.

McIntyre then tags in and Orton looks to do the same. Jelly Roll then convinces him to let him stay in the ring, but McIntyre immediately stares Jelly Roll down and looks to chokeslam him. Jelly Roll then hits an open palm strike on McIntyre, but McIntyre quickly recovers. McIntyre then nails Jelly Roll with a right hand before Paul tags back in and hits a double suplex on Jelly Roll with McIntyre. Paul then delivers some right hands on Jelly Roll, then follows it up with a split legged leg drop on him and goes for a pin but Jelly Roll kicks out.

Paul then sends Roll into the turnbuckles and he punches Roll. Paul then goes to the turnbuckles and he moves Roll’s head against his body and he punches Roll. McIntyre then tags in and he chops Roll. McIntyre then hits forearms to the back and he sends Roll to the mat. McIntyre then knocks Randy Orton off the apron. Roll then sends McIntyre over the top rope to the floor, but Roll falls down and cannot get to his corner. Roll then crawls to his corner and Orton tags in and he clotheslines McIntyre and punches Paul. McIntyre then misses a clothesline and Orton hits him with a power slam.

Orton then hits the hanging DDT on McIntyre and he looks around and sets up for an RKO. Paul then pulls McIntyre to the floor. Orton then goes to the floor and he kicks Paul and sends him into the ringside barrier. Orton then avoids being sent into the announce desk and Orton hits a back drop driver onto the table. Orton then hits another one on Paul. McIntyre then hits a Claymore on Orton. Roll then checks on Orton, but Paul hits Roll from behind. Paul then winds up for the punch and he hits Roll in the ribs. Paul then adjusts the announce desk and McIntyre breaks the count. Paul then samples his beverage and puts on some sunglasses to prove how he can be. McIntyre then picks up Roll and puts him on the announce desk. Paul then goes up top and he hits a frog splash through the announce desk and the medical staff checks on Roll.

As officials check on Jelly Roll, McIntyre sends Orton back into the ring. Jelly Roll is then helped to the back as McIntyre jams his boot into Orton’s neck in the corner of the ring. Paul then tags in and he hits a Blockbuster on Orton off the middle rope as McIntyre holds him in place. McIntyre then tags back in, but Orton delivers some right hands on him. Orton then hits a suplex on McIntyre as Jelly Roll is still being helped to the back, but Jelly Roll turns around and decides to still keep competing in this match. Jelly Roll then tags back in and nails Paul with a couple of clotheslines, but McIntyre hits a Claymore Kick on Jelly Roll. Orton then hits McIntyre with an RKO, but Paul sends Orton crashing into the ring post shoulder first. He then hits a Frog Splash on Jelly Roll and pins him for the win.

Michael Cole then hypes WWE Clash in Paris for August 31. Cole then narrates video footage of Paul “Triple H” Levesque at the White House for the ceremony that reintroduced the Presidential Physical Fitness Test. Commentary then runs through the SummerSlam night two lineup.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match.

CM Punk then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of SummerSlam Saturday and GUNTHER follows.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: “The Ring General” GUNTHER (c) vs. “The Best In The World” CM Punk

The match starts off with both men locking up and GUNTHER backs Punk into the corner and Punk turns it around and he gives GUNTHER a clean break. Both men then lock up again and GUNTHER cinches in a wrist lock on Punk. GUNTHER then backs Punk into the ropes and Punk avoids a chop. Both men then lock up again and GUNTHER cinches in a side head lock take down on Punk. Punk then hits a hammer lock on GUNTHER and GUNTHER hits a snap mare, but Punk responds with an arm bar. Punk then cinches in a wrist lock and an arm wringer.

Punk then returns to the hammer lock. GUNTHER then backs Punk into the corner and goes for a chop, but Punk blocks it. Both men then go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and GUNTHER has the advantage, but Punk bridges. GUNTHER then misses a boot, but he stomps on the neck of Punk. GUNTHER then European uppercuts and an Irish whip, but he runs into a boot from Punk. Punk then hits a wrist lock and he works on the arm of GUNTHER. Punk then hits some kicks to the chest. Punk then hits a back heel kick and follows it up with a second one. GUNTHER then hits a chop.

Punk then blocks a suplex and returns to the wrist lock and he kicks GUNTHER in the chest. Punk then hits a snap mare and he follows it up with a knee drop to the arm. Punk then avoids a sleeper and he gets to the ropes to force a break. GUNTHER then hits some forearms to the back. Punk then hits some chops. GUNTHER then hits an Irish whip and Punk responds with a boot. Punk then goes to the turnbuckles and GUNTHER chops Punk in the hamstrings and puts him in the tree of woe. GUNTHER then hits more chops and kicks. GUNTHER then hits a boot on Punk. Punk then hits some punches and GUNTHER stops Punk with a chop. GUNTHER then cinches in a rear chin lock on Punk. GUNTHER then hits a chop on Punk and follows it up with a slam.

GUNTHER then cinches in an abdominal stretch on Punk, but Punk hits a reversal. Punk then gets GUNTHER up, but GUNTHER escapes. Punk then gets a rollup for a near fall. GUNTHER then hits a kick and follows it up with a boot to the head. GUNTHER then hits some chops and Punk chops him back. Both men then go back and forth. Punk then hits some forearms on GUNTHER and GUNTHER responds with a boot to the head. GUNTHER then hits a chop and Punk is in the ropes. GUNTHER then hits another chop and hits a boot on Punk to send him to the apron.

GUNTHER then hits some chops. Punk then chops GUNTHER a few times and GUNTHER tells him to chop him some more. Punk then hits some kicks and GUNTHER responds with a chop. GUNTHER then cinches in a reverse chin lock and he hits some forearms as he talks to Punk. Punk then tries to get GUNTHER up, but GUNTHER gets back to his feet. Punk then hits a reverse atomic drop and GUNTHER kicks Punk away and he chops him. GUNTHER then cinches in a Sharpshooter. Punk then tries to get to the ropes and Punk gets GUNTHER to the mat. Punk then counters into a figure four leg lock and Sharpshooter and GUNTHER gets to the ropes.

GUNTHER then hits a German suplex. GUNTHER then kicks Punk in the head. GUNTHER then hits some chops and Punk responds with a forearm. GUNTHER and Punk then exchange chops. Punk then hits a clothesline, but GUNTHER stays on his feet. Punk then hits a second one and gets the same result. Punk then runs into a chop and Punk hits a leg lariat and a neck breaker. GUNTHER. then blocks the knee into the corner and he hits a power bomb and gets a near fall. Punk then locks in a triangle on GUNTHER. GUNTHER then goes for a Boston Crab, but Punk kicks GUNTHER away. GUNTHER then hits a chop and follows it up with a second one. GUNTHER then goes for a sleeper, but Punk hits a side Russian leg sweep. Punk then hits a knee in the corner and follows it up with a bulldog for a near fall.

Punk then goes to the turnbuckles and he sets for the elbow drop, but GUNTHER gets up and chops Punk. GUNTHER then hits a forearm and he press slams Punk. GUNTHER then goes up top and goes for a frog splash and he hits it for a near fall. GUNTHER then hits a short arm clothesline. GUNTHER then waits for Punk to return to his feet and he hits him with another clothesline. Punk then gets GUNTHER up, but GUNTHER blocks the GTS. GUNTHER then hits a power bomb. GUNTHER then hits a drop kick to send Punk into the turnbuckles. GUNTHER then hits another power bomb for a near fall. Punk then hits a punch, but GUNTHER responds with chops. GUNTHER then puts Punk on the turnbuckles and chops him, then chokes Punk and hangs him over the turnbuckles. GUNTHER then sends Punk into the ring post. GUNTHER then goes to the announce desk and he poses for the fans. Punk then trips GUNTHER and he falls onto the desk. GUNTHER then emerges from under the desk and he is bleeding.

Punk then sends GUNTHER back in the ring and hits an elbow drop on him off the top rope. Punk then calls for the GTS, but GUNTHER escapes and cinches in a Sleeper on Punk. Punk then escapes and hits a GTS on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER somehow stays on his feet. Punk then hits a second GTS on GUNTHER for the win.

After the match, Punk was in tears while the referee kneels next to him. The referee then hands Punk the belt, which he clutches close to his chest. Cole then says Punk has proven that he is the best in the world. Punk then holds the title and looks around the stadium, then faces the hard camera and holds up the title belt. Seth Rollins’ entrance music then plays and he uses the crutches while walking onto the stage with Paul Heyman, who holds up the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins then heads to the back, but he stops and drops the crutches because he is fully healed. Rollins then pulls off his knee brace and he makes his way down to the ring with the case. Rollins then punches Punk and hits him with elbows. Rollins then hits Punk with the case many times. Rollins then cashes in his briefcase.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: “The Best In The World” CM Punk (c) vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The match starts off with Rollins hitting a Curb Stomp on Punk for the win.

The winner and new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins!

After the match, Rollins stands tall above Punk and holds up the World Heavyweight Championship as SummerSlam Saturday comes to a close.
