WWE SmackDown Results (2/27/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with commentary welcoming us as we see Jey Uso being put into an ambulance while many people yell about stuff. Jimmy then says he will find out who did it. Cody then asks Nick what is happening. Trick Williams then shows up and says better him than me. He then says one down, four to go. Je’Von then asks Trick if he is the one who put him in the ambulance. Trick then tells Evans to let the adults talk. Drew. then comes through the crowd and he says he didn’t have anything to do with Jey, but it was funny. He then says he tells the truth all the time, but he is guilty until proven innocent. Drew then says he has to buy a suite every week because he is an outlaw in his own company. He then says he just wants to shed the competition in the Elimination Chamber. He then says is that too much. He then says he can do what he wants when he wants so he does.

Nick Aldis tells Drew he told him not to get involved. He tells Drew to go to his office because there are twenty guys who want to rip you apart and he is ready to tell him to do for him. Drew says there are six, five men challenging him for the title. Cody Rhodes comes out and he tells Drew let’s fight right now. Drew asks the crowd if they want him to fight. Drew says no because how would that benefit him. Drew says he isn’t a troublemaker and he will not break the rules and he is going to leave. Cody says Drew has spent his title reign running like a little bitch. Drew stops walking and has he been McFly-ed.

Cody says no rematch. After tomorrow. Randy Orton comes out and he says what happened to Jey sucks and he feels bad for him. Randy says his only concern is winning the Elimination Chamber tomorrow and becoming a 15 time champion. Randy tells Cody, as far as they go. Trick Williams interrupts and comes out. He says he hates to do this but you gotta understand that he is the hottest thing in the business. He says that is why Bruno Mars shouted him out. As for tonight, he is looking in the ring and sees them. Since they are in Louisville, he can add something to the menu. He can add some flavor to the menu. Je’Von Evans interrupts and he walks past Trick into the ring.

Evans says let’s talk crazy. They have history but he is going to win at Elimination Chamber and beat Randy’s record for youngest World Champion. We need the final healthy member in the match, and LA Knight interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Knight wants to talk and he says he hears a lot of empty promises. They have 24 hours to Elmination Chamber and they all belong to him. Drew, when it comes to you and me at Mania, the title belongs to him. We get a catchphrase off between Trick and Knight when Trick jumps in. Knight punches Trick and then he is pulled to the floor by Trick. They exchange punches as they go to the back. Cody, Randy, and Evans stand in the ring and Randy gives Evans an RKO. Randy looks at Cody and Randy leaves the ring with Cody looking over his shoulder.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley says Jey Uso’s spot in the Elimination Chamber is in jeopardy. Cathy then says she is trying to get more information on Jey Uso. Tiffany Stratton then walks up to her. Cathy asks if that changes her and the Chamber. Tiffany says it sucks, but she is not going to let anyone take her out of the match to get her title back. Asuka then shows up and she says Tiffy Time is over. Asuka then says tomorrow no one is ready for her. Tiffany then asks Asuka if she wants to prove it tonight. Kairi then asks Tiffany if she is jealous and Asuka yells her away.

We then see the Superstar arrivals of the night while commentary runs down the lineup for tonight’s show, including a focus on Oba Femi taking on The Miz.

Solo Sikoa then makes his way down to the ring holding on to the Wyatt Sicks lantern for the first match of the night. We then get a tease of the Wyatt Sicks. Back at ringside, we get a look back at last week and the message Uncle Howdy delivered to the MFT ahead of tonight’s match. The lights then cut out for the entrance of Uncle Howdy, who makes his way down to the ring alone. He then enters the ring to get this match underway.

Singles Match: The Wyatt Sicks’ Uncle Howdy vs. MFT’s WWE Tag Team Champion Solo Sikoa

The match starts off with Solo pointing to the lantern and he has some words for Howdy. They then lock up and Howdy backs Solo into the corner and gives a clean break. Solo then pushes Howdy. They then lock up again and Solo applies a side head lock. Solo then hits a shoulder tackle, but Howdy does not go down. Solo then hits a punch and Howdy punches back. They then go back and forth. Solo then hits a head butt. Howdy then hits a flying back elbow and he sets up for Sister Abigail, but Solo escapes and goes to the floor. Howdy then follows and Solo hits a punch. Solo then goes for the Samoan spike and misses Howdy, but not the ring post. Howdy then sends the arm into the ring post many times and into the ringside barrier.

Howdy then clotheslines Solo over the ringside barrier into the time keeper’s area. Howdy then looks at the lantern before getting Solo and he hits an elbow. Howdy then slams the hand into the announce desk. They then return to the ring and Howdy kicks Solo and sends him into the turnbuckles. Solo then hits a forearm and he sends Howdy face first into the middle turnbuckle. Howdy then rolls to the floor. Solo then sends Howdy into the ringside barrier and he picks up the lantern. Solo then sends Howdy back into the ring and he tries to get some feeling back into his thumb. Solo then hits a chop to Howdy’s head, but he uses the right hand and it causes some damage. Solo then hits some head butts. Solo then applies a nerve hold.

Howdy then gets back to his feet and Solo sends Howdy back to the mat. Solo then returns to the nerve hold. Howdy then hits a jaw breaker, but Solo returns to the nerve hold and hits some head butts. Howdy then hits punches to Solo and Solo hits a Samoan drop for a near fall. Solo then returns to the nerve hold. Howdy then grabs the hand and pulls at the fingers. Solo then hits a head butt and Howdy hits some punches. Howdy then hits some clotheslines in the corner. Solo then hits a uranage and he goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall.
