WWE SmackDown Results (2/20/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with commentary welcoming us as we see Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY walking backstage. We then see Giulia and Kiana James outside of the arena. The camera then cuts to Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. We then see Lash Legend and Nia Jax. The camera then cuts to Damian Priest and R-Truth. We then see Carmelo Hayes backstage and Trick Williams walking outside.

We then take a look at what happened last week in the main event when Cody Rhodes won the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match by pinning Sami Zayn despite interference from Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

Cody Rhodes’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Cody then grabs a mic and asks the fans what they want to talk about. Jacob Fatu’s music then interrupts Cody before he can say anything else. Jacob then enters the ring to confront Cody. Jacob then tells Cody to keep it 100. Jacob then says you wouldn’t be out here speaking about Elimination Chamber if it wasn’t for Drew. Jacob then says he had Cody and Sami beat last week. Jacob then says he was walking out with the W. Jacob then says he knows it and Cody knows it. Jacob then says he isn’t concerned about Cody, it is about Drew McIntyre. Jacob then tells Drew to bring his punk a** out here.

Nick Aldis then make his way out and says he gave Drew the night off. Nick then says he didn’t want to do it because Drew is the champion. Nick then says with the Chamber around the corner and WrestleMania on the horizon, he can’t risk anything. Nick then says this is Cody’s time so they can go to his office and discuss getting his hands on Drew. Drew then says Cody and Fatu can’t keep the champ’s name out of their mouths. Drew then appears in a suite. Drew then says he appreciates the night off, but he will do what he wants. Drew then says he loves Smackdown so much he bought an entire suite to watch the show. Drew then tells Jacob he heard him run his mouth and he is right here. Drew then says you are all bark and no bite. Drew then says what are you going to do.

Fatu then leaves the ring and he attacks security trying to stop him. Nick then tells security to get Drew out of here. He then says he will get Drew out of the building and they can talk. Drew then says the whole damn world is against him because he is the champ. Drew then says they are jealous of him because he is the champ. Drew then says they all want to be him because he is the champ. Cody then says the world isn’t after him because he is champ. Cody then says they are after him because he is an a**hole. Cody’s music then hits and Drew raises the title in the air.

We then see clips of last week’s SmackDown with the MFTs winning their 10-Man Tag Team Match.

We then head to Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov backstage. Ilja tells Hayes that he is the United States champion, he is him and if he shoots, he doesn’t miss. Ilja then tells Hayes that he will win the qualifying match, he will walk into the Elimination Chamber and he will walk straight into WrestleMania. Hayes then tells Ilja that he doesn’t need him to tell him how to be him. Hayes then tells Ilja that he doesn’t miss. Ilja then tells Hayes that he believes in him, but one thing that won’t happen is him walking into WrestleMania as United States Champion.

We then see Jacob Fatu tell Nick Aldis he respects him. Nick then asks Fatu how long did he wait to get here. He then says he will give Fatu Drew, but he has to wait. Fatu then says he won’t wait much longer. Fatu then leaves the building.

Ilja Dragunov then makes his way down to the ring and MFT follows.

Singles Match: “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov vs. MFT’s Tama Tonga

The match starts off with Ilja hitting a forearm and some chops to Tama. Tama then hits some punches to Ilja. Tama then chokes Ilja in the corner and Ilja hits some head butts. Tama then hits some chops and an Irish whip that sends Ilja face first into the turnbuckles. Tama then runs into a knee and Ilja hits a jumping boot to Tama. Ilja then hits a running knee into the corner. Ilja then avoids a punch and hits a German suplex. Ilja then hits a running boot to the head. Tama then drops Ilja on the top rope. Ilja then applies a waist lock, but Tama blocks the German suplex. Ilja then goes for the Konstantin Special, but Tama hits a drop kick to Ilja in the ropes to send him to the floor. Tama then goes to the floor and he comes off the ring steps with a flying clothesline.

Tama then sends Ilja back into the ring and he punches Ilja. Ilja then kicks Tama, but Tama hits an elbow drop to the back. Tama then hits a hard Irish whip that sends Ilja face first into the turnbuckles. Ilja then hits a chop, but Tama hits a slap. Tama then hits an Irish whip, but Ilja stops in the corner and he hits a series of clotheslines into the corner. Ilja then hits a slam and a knee drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Ilja then goes up top and Tama stops him. Tama then hits a press slam. Ilja and Tama then exchange slaps. Tama then hits a forearm and Ilja hits a clothesline. Tama and Ilja then hit clotheslines at the same time and both men go down. Ilja then hits a chop and Tama chops back. They then continue the exchange with slaps and chops. Ilja then hits a chop to the knee and he misses a boot to the head.

Ilja then hits a snap mare and a German suplex. Ilja then holds on for another German suplex and he hits it. Ilja then holds on and sets up for another one, but Tama hits a standing switch. Ilja then hits a Konstantin Special and he gets a near fall. Ilja then rolls to the apron and goes up top, but he leaps over Tama and rolls through. Tama then hits a flatliner for a near fall. Tama then sets up for a Tiger Driver, but Ilja escapes and avoids a clothesline. Ilja then sends Tama to the mat. Ilja then goes up top closer to Solo’s men. Loa then distracts Ilja and Ilja hits some head butts to send Tama to the mat. Ilja then goes up top and hits the back senton. Ilja then sets up for Torpedo Moscow and Mateo gets on the apron. Tama then gets a rollup for a near fall. Tama then hits a punch and Ilja hits a kick. Loa then gets on the apron and Ilja knocks him of the apron. Tama then hits a cutthroat for the win.

After the match, Solo Sikoa grabs the microphone and says now that MFT has the WWE Tag Team Championship, he’s coming for everyone. Ilja then blindsides Sikoa from behind, but MFT quickly outnumber him and take out Matt Cardona when he looks to save Ilja. Mateo then sends Cardona crashing into the barricade, then beats down Apollo Crews with a couple of other members of MFT when Crews looks to help Ilja and Cardona. 

Uncle Howdy then appears on the big screen and says it’s time for Sikoa to show everyone he can stand on his own as the rest of The Wyatt Sicks flank him. He then says he’ll expose Sikoa the next time he’s alone in the ring with Sikoa and asks if he’ll show up. Howdy then laughs.

Drew McIntyre is now on the phone and Nick Aldis shows up. Drew then says he was having some fun. He then says he saw Nick smiling. Nick then talks about how there is chaos because of Drew. Nick then gives Drew points for buying the suite. He then tells Drew to keep testing him and he will show him what to do. Drew then says he is going to leave and he tells Nick to relax.

Byron Saxton is now with Randy Orton. Byron asks Drew about the people in the match next Saturday. Randy then says everyone is on edge. He then says we saw what just happened with Drew. He then says when it comes to his friend Cody Rhodes and Zelina Vega interrupts and she says it is like you predicted this. She then says there is only one road left for you to take. Aleister Black then says there was a time when no one would be able to get this close to you because they would experience the worst headache ever. Black then asks where is that man. He then says we should poke around in your head. Randy then says the only version he needs to kick Black’s a** is this one. He then says he will talk to Aldis to get a match.

We then see WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill walking in the backstage area.

Byron Saxton is now with Lash Legend and Nia Jax. They then correct him about their team name. Nia says this is the busiest time of the year and she has her match for the Chamber and next week they will have a tag title match next week. Byron then mentions the tag title match next week. Lash then says they are coming for it all. She then says if you have the slightest doubt whether they run the division, you will see at WrestleMania.

Jade Cargill then makes her way down to the ring. Jade grabs a mic and starts off by saying she is not going to tell you again. Jade then says she defends the title on her time. Jade then says Jordynne tried her best, but her best wasn’t good enough. Jade then says everybody is so bold backstage and so loud online, but when you step to her, you are quiet. Jade then tells Liv that she will be making her decision on Monday in Atlanta. Jade then says she resides there, so she will be there to hear her decision. Jade then says she runs through the options for the Elimination Chamber. Jade then says after WrestleMania, she will be the champion because she is still that b***h.

Jade Cargill has some words for Charlotte Flair as she makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Flair then woos at her and a referee tells Jade to go to the back. Kiana James, Nia Jax and Lash Legend then follow.

Women’s Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match: “The Queen” Charlotte Flair vs. “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax vs. Kiana James

The match starts off with Flair and Nia having some words and Flair hits an elbow to James. Flair then sends James into Nia for a shoulder tackle. Nia then hits a shoulder tackle to Flair. James then talks to Nia about strategy and Nia says there is a deal, but that was a ruse. Flair then sends James into the turnbuckles and James hits a boot. Nia then hits pop up head butts to both women. Nia then hits a running hip to James and Flair. Nia then gives James a stink face. Flair then hits a boot and Nia goes into the ring post shoulder first. James then kicks Flair in the ribs and follows it up with a punch. James then sends Flair to the mat and hits an elbow drop for a near fall. James then applies a reverse chin lock. Nia then gets on the apron and James kicks her off. James then hits some kicks to the ribs and she returns to the reverse chin lock.

Flair then hits forearms to James, but James hits an Irish whip. Flair then floats over and James hits a back elbow. James then hits some shoulders into the corner and Nia returns to the ring. James and Flair then hits a double thrust kick, but Nia hits a double clothesline. Nia then mocks Flair. Nia then kicks James and sets up for a double suplex, but they block it and they hit a double suplex on Nia. James then gets a rollup on Flair for a near fall. James then hits a forearm and Flair goes up top and hits a cross body. Flair then hits some chops to James and Nia. Flair then hits a thrust kick to Nia and a walkover clothesline on James.

Flair then sends James to the apron and she chops Nia. Nia then hits an Irish whip and Flair does the Flair flip and she kicks Nia, but James hits a thrust kick on the apron. Nia then gets James up, but Flair kicks Nia and Nia hits a Samoan drop on James. Flair then goes up top for a moonsault onto both women and she hits it. Flair then gets a near fall on Nia. Flair is then caught by Nia, but Flair counters with a rana. Nia then hits a Samoan drop to Flair, but James hits a Samoan drop to Nia for a near fall. James then goes up top, but Nia rolls to the floor. Flair then hits a boot to James on the apron. They then go to the turnbuckles and Flair chops James. James then sets up for a uranage off the turnbuckles, but Flair counters into a Spanish Fly for a near fall.

Nia then trips Flair when Flair goes for a Natural Selection. Nia then sends Flair into the ring post and Back into the ring. James then hits a boot to Nia’s head. Nia then goes for a shoulder, but moves and she hits the ring steps. James then sets up for a figure four, but Flair kicks her away. Flair then hits a power bomb and she applies a bridging figure four. Nia then hits a leg drop to break up the hold. Nia then sets up for the aNIAlator on James and hits it, but Flair breaks up the cover. Flair and Nia then go face to face. They then exchange punches and Nia hits a head butt.

Flair then says she is not impressed with Nia and she drops Nia on the top rope. Flair then goes up top and Nia hits a forearm to stop her. Nia then goes for a super Samoan Drop, but Flair counters with a sunset flip power bomb. Flair then applies a figure four and she bridges. James then goes under and she rolls up Flair for the win.

We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton stops by to talk to Rhea and IYO about Kiana qualifying. Rhea says it is so sad that Nia didn’t win. She then says it was quite an upset. IYO then says her partner won’t be so lucky. Rhea then says she will beat Giulia and IYO will qualify next week. Byron then asks about the tag title match. Rhea says they are focused on the Chamber, but they are used to the pressure. IYO then says Nia and Lash doesn’t stand a chance. She then says may the best woman win in the Elimination Chamber.

Kit Wilson then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Oba Femi follows.

Singles Match: “The Ruler” Oba Femi vs. Kit Wilson

The match starts off with Kit complaining about the referee ringing the bell before he is in the ring. Kit then says it seems like you have done a lot of work and has grown. Kit then says from Femanist to Femanist, he wants to read him a poem. Kit then says it is called an Ode to Oba Femi. Oba appreciates the poem and he says that is quite nice. Oba then asks Kit to read another one. Kit then says he only prepared one. Oba then tells Kit to read another one. Kit then reads some older poems. This one is Nine Things I Hate about Men. Kit then says he doesn’t want to continue because it is negative about Oba Femi. Oba then brings Kit into the ring and hits him with a clothesline and a running uppercut. Oba then hits another one. Kit then tries to block a kick, but Oba tosses Kit across the ring. Oba then hits a Fall From Grace for the win.

We then see Nick Aldis standing by the box and he wants to know what is inside. R-Truth says that’s a major award. Truth then points out that it is an Elimination Chamber Award. Truth then says he won a few of them. Nick then asks if he means a Slammy. Nick then tells his assistant to send the box back to RAW. Damian Priest then shows up and Nick asks if he is ready. Truth and Priest then say they are ready. Nick then says Truth isn’t in the match. Truth then demands the bald Nick back. Priest then says he appreciates the opportunity because he will take any opportunity to main event WrestleMania.

Singles Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. The Secret Hervice’s Alba Fyre

The match starts off with both women locking up.
