Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, airing December 12, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event go-home show sees Damian Priest and “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley take on Aleister Black and Zelina Vega in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Plus, WWE United States Champion “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov will defend his title against #DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa.

WWE SmackDown Results (12/12/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with a video package recapping what happened last week with Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves then welcomes us to the show and talk about what is going to happen tomorrow. Cole then mentions that Nick Aldis has an announcement. Nick then says that he is trying to reinstate Drew McIntyre, but Drew has not responded to any calls or emails. Nick then says he has invited Drew to SmackDown to discuss bringing him back. Cody Rhodes then walks in the back and he asks Nick if Drew is here. Nick then says he has a legal letter from Drew’s attorney claiming that this is an unsafe work place. Nick then says he is going to Drew’s house this week to deal with it.
Cody then crumples up the letter and makes his way down to the ring. Cody starts off by saying he wants to talk about Drew McIntyre. Cody then says that Drew says this is an unsafe working environment. Cody then says Drew nearly snatched him bald and now it is unsafe. Cody then says there is a reason Drew isn’t doing 5AM media junkets or appearances. Cody then says it is because Drew is half in and that is why he is not sweating Drew. Cody then says if he was Drew’s boss, he would fire him. Cody then says he is not his boss, but he cannot fire him. Cody then says he can whip Drew’s ass.
Oba Femi’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Cody then hands Oba Femi a microphone. Oba then tells Cody he sees he is all fired up. Oba then says he loves the passion, but you are worried about the wrong man. Oba then says you are worried about Drew and he is not here. Oba then says the NXT Champion is in the building tonight. Oba then introduces himself to Cody. Oba then says he is the ruler, destroyer, bringer of war, mountain you cannot climb, and your opponent tomorrow night. Oba then says in the spirit of Saturday Night’s Main Event, it is the present versus the future. Oba then says they talk about the future as a distant thing. Oba then says he is knocking on Cody’s door and the future is now. Oba then says using hustle, loyalty and respect, your time is up and his time is now.
Cody then mentions that was a John Cena quote and he is glad that he looks up to John. Cody then says he is the man who beat John for the title. Cody then starts to walk away, but Oba stops him. Oba then holds up his title and Cody does the same.
We then head to the back, where Nathan Frazer tells Ilja Dragunov if #DIY does anything, they will come out to kick their teeth down their throat. Axiom then says if Ilja needs their help, they will be out there. Ilja then says he will uphold the tradition of the challenge and he will do it alone. Ilja then says John Cena started the tradition and he never backed down from a bully or a fight. Ilja then says if he plays with the Mad Dragon, he will burn his fingers. Fraxiom then wishes Ilja luck and walk away.
Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Ilja Dragunov follows.
WWE United States Championship Match: “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. #DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa
The match starts off with both men locking up and Ciampa backs Ilja into the corner and he hits some chops and forearms. Ilja then hits a knee and a chop followed by a European uppercut. Ciampa then hits a forearm and Ilja responds with a forearm of his own. Both men continue the exchange and they hit some chops. Both men then slap each other and Ilja hits a jumping kick to the head. Ilja then hits a chop, but Ciampa hits a kick and a forearm. Ciampa then hits a drop kick to the knee and a running knee for a near fall. Ilja then hits an Irish whip and he hits a running knees in the corner. Ilja then kicks Ciampa off the apron and Ilja runs at Ciampa, but misses a running corkscrew uppercut and he hits the ring steps. Ciampa then suplexes Ilja into the ring steps. Ciampa then sends Ilja back into the ring. Ciampa then sends Ilja’s knee into the mat.
Ciampa then hits a kick to the head and a chop. Ciampa then hits some chops and slaps Ilja and Ilja chops back. Ciampa then puts the leg in the ropes and he kicks the leg and hits a dragon screw. Ilja then kicks Ciampa to block a single leg crab. Ciampa then hits a chop and he avoids an enzuigiri. Ciampa then hits a knee drop to the leg. Ciampa then rakes the eyes and he chops Ilja. Ilja then cinches in a front face lock and he hits some forearms. Ciampa then hits a KneeDT for a near fall. Ciampa then works on the leg and Ilja hits some forearms. Ilja then tries to kick Ciampa away and Ciampa cinches in a waist lock. Ilja then hits some elbows and Ilja swings in the ropes and his knee gives out. Ciampa then hits a kick to the leg and a knee. Ilja then hits an enzuigiri. Ilja then hits some chops and slaps.
Ilja then hits a knee on Ciampa and a slap. Ilja then hits a knee and a German suplex. Ilja then holds on and hits a second one. Ilja then holds on, but Ciampa hits some shots to the leg. Ilja then hits some elbows to the clavicle. Ilja then goes for a wrist clutch gut-wrench, but his knee gives out. Both men then exchange strikes and Ilja hits a belly-to-back set up into an elevated clothesline for a near fall. Ciampa then chops Ilja on the turnbuckles and Ilja slaps Ciampa to the mat. Ciampa then kicks Ilja off the turnbuckles to the apron and Ciampa follows it up with an Air Raid Crash for a near fall. Ilja then head butts Ciampa off the turnbuckles. Ilja then hits a missile drop kick on Ciampa. Ilja then gets back to his feet first. Ilja then hits a chop.
Ciampa then goes to the apron and Ilja hits some cross faces. Ilja then tries to superplex Ciampa back into the ring, but Ciampa stops Ilja and knocks him to the mat. Ciampa then cinches in a single leg crab. Ilja then rolls over and he kicks Ciampa, but Ciampa returns to the single leg crab. Ilja then hits some kicks to escape and he hits a running boot to the head. Ilja then goes for the wrist clutch exploder and hits it.
Ilja then chops Ciampa and Ciampa chops back. Ilja then hits a head butt and Ciampa hits a slap. Ilja then hits a slap of his own. Ilja then hits more chops in the corner. Ilja then puts Ciampa on the turnbuckles and he slaps Ciampa. Ilja then hits a chop and Ilja goes to the turnbuckles. Ilja then sets up for a superplex, but Ciampa hits a Super Air Raid Crash for a near fall. Ilja and Ciampa then get back to their feet and they slap each other. Ciampa then staggers Ilja and Ciampa blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw. The knee pad then comes down, but Ilja hits a head butt. Ciampa then hits a German suplex and Ilja hits a flying head butt. Johnny Gargano then gets on the apron and Candice drops Ilja on the top rope. Ciampa then hits a running knee and he gets a near fall. Ilja then counters the Fairy Tale Ending with a back body drop and he drops down for the win.
The winner and still the WWE United States Champion, “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov!
After the match, Ciampa and Gargano attack Ilja. Carmelo Hayes then makes his way down to the ring and he takes care of Gargano and Ciampa. Hayes then goes over to Ilja and helps him up. Both men then shake hands.
We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Je’Von Evans. Evans tells Cathy that he is wrestling in the biggest stage of his career. The Miz then shows up and says that this is all wrong. He then says Cathy should be interviewing him about his match tomorrow, but he doesn’t have one. He then says Evans wasn’t even born when Cena started wrestling. Evans then says Miz had a chance to be on the show, but he lost twice. Evans then challenges Miz to a match tonight and Miz says he will go to Nick Aldis and he will get them their match tonight. He then says if Evans gets injured, he won’t make it to Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The feed then scrambles and we see Uncle Howdy and he says they are here and laughs.
The lights then go down and the Wyatt Sicks make their way down to the ring. Uncle Howdy starts off by mentioning Solo Sikoa and he says you have made many claims to discredit him and his family. Howdy then says who are you to cast judgment. Howdy then says you may not have the power to look inside Solo, but they do. Howdy then says the reality is that your real family has all turned their backs on you. Howdy then says you use and abuse those you claim to love. Howdy then says you are disillusioned. Howdy then says you are out of your mind saying the MFTs run SmackDown. Howdy then laughs. Howdy then says rip the scales from your eyes, they run nothing. Howdy then says the Wyatts have the tag titles. Howdy then says if you and your family want these titles, come and get them.
Solo’s music then hits, but they don’t come out. We then see Solo and the MFTs in a room. Solo says they were not going to show up on their terms. He then tells Uncle Howdy to listen to him. He then says Uncle Howdy does not get to call the shots because he does. He then says The Wyatt Sicks like to appear out of the shadows and attack his family. Solo then says next week, they are coming to take the Tag Team titles. He then says if he wants to keep his family safe, to give them those Tag Team titles because if they don’t, the only thing they’ll be able to do is run.
We then head to the back, where Charlotte Flair tells Alexa Bliss that Lash Legend is the most powerful woman but Alexa will win. Rhea Ripley then shows up and says she and IYO are next for the tag titles. Alexa then says they are not stepping aside for anybody. Rhea then wishes Alexa luck and Alexa wishes Rhea luck.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lash Legend and Nia Jax follow. We then see Sol Ruca and Bayley in the crowd.
Singles Match: Alexa Bliss vs. “The Boujee Bully” Lash Legend
The match starts off with Lash missing a bicycle kick and Alexa gets on Lash’s back, but Lash hits a snap mare. Lash then misses a boot into the corner. Alexa then hits a La Mistica to send Lash to the floor. Alexa then goes for a cannonball off the apron, but Lash catches her and Lash drops Alexa on the ringside barrier. Both women then return to the ring. Lash then cinches in a wrist lock and she works on the arm. Lash then lifts Alexa up by the wrist and she hits a clothesline for a near fall.
Lash then hits a splash and she goes for a cover, but Alexa kicks out. She then slams Alexa into the corner and runs towards her, but Alexa hits a big boot. Alexa then climbs the top rope and goes for a cross body, but Lash catches her. Lash then goes for a slam, but Alexa hits a DDT. Alexa then hits some slaps to the face followed by a knee to the face and a drop kick. She then runs to the ropes, but Lash hits the Lash Minute and a forearm to the face. Alexa then gets on the ring apron and Lash distracts the referee. Nia then trips Alexa up. Flair then hits Nia with a super kick and she turns around, but Lash hits her with a kick to the face. Lash then gets back in the ring and Alexa goes for a DDT, but she catches her and she hits her with the Lash Extension for the win.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Aleister Black and Zelina. Zelina says it didn’t have to come to this. She then says this is happening because Damian Priest doesn’t like the man he is. She then says phoning a friend doesn’t save him. Black then says if Damian wants to drag his friends to hell, so be it.
It is then announced that starting January 2nd SmackDown returns to three hours.
The Miz then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Je’Von Evans follows.
Singles Match: The Miz vs. “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans
The match starts off with both men locking up and Miz cinches in a side head lock and hits a shoulder tackle. Miz then pie faces Evans. Miz then mocks Evans. Both men then lock up again and Miz pushes Evans on a break. Evans then hits a monkey flip. Evans then mocks Miz and hits a drop kick. Evans then hits a springboard head scissors take down that sends Miz to the floor. Miz then moves and Evans goes for a baseball slide, but misses. Miz then hits a knee. Evans then hits an Asai Moonsault. Miz then hits a thrust kick and he sends Evans into the ring post. Miz then hyper-extends the arm and Evans falls to the floor. Miz then sends Evans into the ringside barrier a few times. Miz then hits a springboard double sledge. Miz then cinches in an arm bar and he hits some elbows to the clavicle.
Evans then hits some punches and kicks. Miz then catches Evans off the ropes on a springboard move and he stomps on the elbow. Miz then puts the arm on the ropes and Miz kicks the ropes. Miz then works on the shoulder, but Evans hits a sunset flip for a near fall. Evans then hits a kick and he avoids a baseball slide. Evans then gets a near fall. Evans then misses a splash into the corner and he hits the turnbuckles. Miz then hits a cross face, but Evans rolls back to get a near fall. Evans then hits some chops. Evans then hits some punches, but Miz hits a kick to the arm. Evans then hits a kick and a thrust kick. Evans then hits a rebound round kick for a near fall.
Evans then goes to the turnbuckles and he goes for a moonsault, but lands on his feet. Miz then hits a slam and he up sets for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and hits it. Miz then sets up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Evans lands on his feet and he sends Miz to the floor. Evans then hits a plancha. Miz then catches Evans on a double jump cutter, but Evans rolls through for a near fall. Evans then hits a double jump cutter for the win.

We then see Rhea Ripley in the back and Lash Legend and Nia Jax stop by and ask her if she saw what they did to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Lash then says things are changing. Rhea then asks if that is a threat. She then says Nia doesn’t want to have to deal with her. She then says when she and IYO want the titles, they will get them. Damian Priest then shows up and says this is the energy he is looking for. Jade Cargill then shows up and she walks away.
We then see Michin and she says she knows Jade Cargill will give her everything she got and she promises Jade that she will give her everything that she has. As Michin is walking, Jade hits her with a right hand and sends her into the wall. Jade then says to play her music and she makes her way down to the ring.
Jade then takes a mic and she says everyone is going to stop trying her. Jade then says that is what happens when the women don’t know their place. Jade then says anyone can get stepped on. Jade then says she is that b***h and Michin makes her way down to the ring with a kendo stick. Michin then hits Jade with the kendo stick a few times. Michin then goes under the ring for a table. Jade then hits a bicycle kick and she sends Michin into the ring. Jade then looks around and she puts the table under the ring. Michin then punches Jade and Jade hits a choke slam. Jade then stands over Michin. Jade’s music then hits and she walks to the back.
We then get an Oba Femi video package.
Aleister Black and Zelina Vega then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest follow.
Mixed Tag Team Match: Damian Priest and “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega
The match starts off with Black and Zelina going after Rhea and Priest. Black then kicks Priest and Priest sends Black into the corner. Priest then hits some punches and uppercuts. Priest then clotheslines Black over the top rope. Priest then goes to make the tag, but Zelina gets on Priest’s back and that doesn’t stop Priest from making the tag. Vega then punches Rhea and Rhea follows after her. Rhea then hits short arm clotheslines. Rhea then goes for a belly-to-back suplex, but Vega lands on her feet. Rhea then blocks a tornado DDT and Rhea hits a knee and a clothesline.
Rhea then hits a running shoulder into the corner and follows it up with more shoulders. Rhea then hits an Irish whip and Vega moves. Rhea then hits the ring post shoulder first. Vega then hits an arm wringer for a near fall. Vega then cinches in a double wrist lock and Rhea gets a rollup for a near fall. Rhea then picks up Vega and Vega gets to her feet. Black then gets on the apron to distract Rhea and Vega hits a flatliner for a near fall. Rhea then hits a kimura and locks in a body scissors. Rhea then tries to escape, but Vega holds on. Rhea then puts Vega on the turnbuckles and Vega continues to hold on.
Vega then goes to the turnbuckles for a meteora and a near fall. Vega then hits some punches. Rhea then hits a back fist and Vega escapes a slam. She then kicks Rhea in the back off the leg and follows it up with a DDT for a near fall. Rhea then picks up Vega and she tosses Vega away, but Vega holds on with a modified face buster. Black and Priest then tag in and Priest hits some clotheslines and a leaping flatliner. Priest then hits an elbow into the corner followed by a Broken Arrow for a near fall. Vega then leaps on Priest’s back and Priest pushes her off. Black then hits a kick and a German suplex for a near fall.
Black then hits some punches and forearms. Priest then hits a kick and Rhea tags in. Black then kicks Priest in the knee and Vega sends Rhea into the ring post. Vega then kicks Priest and she takes care of Rhea. Black then hits a kick on Priest and Vega and Black hit stereo moonsaults to the floor. Vega then goes to the turnbuckles for a cross body, but Rhea catches her and Rhea goes for RipTide and turns it into a Razor’s Edge, but Rhea collapses under Vega. Vega then hits a Code Red for a near fall.
Vega then misses a round kick, but hits a back heel kick. Vega then hits a forearm, but Rhea catches Vega and goes for a fallaway slam and Vega gets away. Rhea then gets Vega on her shoulders and drops Vega to the mat for a near fall. Rhea then gets in Black’s face and he goes to the apron. Rhea then hits a head butt to knock Black off the apron. Vega then gets a rollup for a near fall. Priest and Rhea then hit stereo Razor’s Edges. Rhea then hits a Rip Tide for the win.

After the match, Priest and Ripley celebrate in the ring as the show comes to a close.
