Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, airing February 7, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee. The post-Royal Rumble show will see 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble winner “Main” Jey Uso appear live. Plus, 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner “The Queen” Charlotte Flair will appear live.
The show kicks off at 8:00 PM ET on the USA Network and is available for international fans on streaming platforms like Netflix. The show opens up with Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcoming us as we see a shot of Memphis. We then see the arrivals of “The Mega Star” LA Knight, “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre, Jimmy Uso and 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner “The Queen” Charlotte Flair.
We then get a video package recapping this past weekend’s WWE Royal Rumble PLE.
2025 Men’s Royal Rumble winner “Main Event” Jey Uso is then shown in the concourse area where he is surrounded by fans. Jey then slaps hands with the fans and looks into the camera and calls for his music to play. Jey then makes his way down to the ring through the crowd.
Wade Barrett says Jey is the first person to win a Royal Rumble match after starting at the No. 20 position. Barrett then says it’s always a shock when an underdog wins the Rumble, but we probably should have seen it coming after the year that Jey has had. Jey then stands in the ring and his music stops, but he motions for it to start again when the crowd chants “one more time!” and Jey yeets with the crowd. Jey then says he had a hell of a week and he got a lot of love from his family and fans and everyone in between throughout the week. A “You deserve it!” chant then breaks out. Jey then says he is there to pick a champion to main event WrestleMania with. Jey then says he wanted to stand face to face with the WWE Champion and calls Cody Rhodes to come down to the ring.
Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring and hugs Jey once he enters the ring. Cody starts off by asking Memphis and Jey Uso what they wanted to talk about, then says he knows what they wanted to talk about. Jey then reminds Cody that he has two choices to make. Cody then says his hip is out of alignment and he needs fluid drained from his elbow. Cody then says doctors told him that this week. Cody then says his heart is full though because Jey won the Royal Rumble. Cody then says this is going to be Jey’s WrestleMania and he references how he and Jey have had some drinks together in the past. Cody then mentions how they could go party on Beale Street later. Cody then says he’s going to have to win at WrestleMania, so if Jey chooses him they should have some fun tonight because it will be the last time they have fun. Jey and Cody then shakes hands and Jacob Fatu’s music hits. Fatu then makes his way out with Tama Tonga.
Tonga then shushes the crowd and mumbles into the microphone. Fatu then says last year Cody took his title from his family. Fatu then says his family needs that title back. Fatu then says if there is anybody to bring back the title to the family it sure as hell wouldn’t be Jey Uso. Uso then hits Tonga with a super kick and Fatu hits Jey with a super kick. Fatu then attacks Cody and goes for a hip attack, but Jey cuts Fatu off with a super kick. Jey and Cody then clotheslines Fatu over the top to end the segment.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi are then shown walking backstage, while Tessitore hypes Belair’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Piper Niven.
A Tag Team Match between Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga was then announced for tonight’s main event.
Piper Niven and WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green are already in the ring for the first match of the night and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi make their way down to the ring.
The match starts off with Bianca Belair going for a KOD, but Niven counters. Niven then clotheslines Belair with an assistance from Belair’s braid. Niven then charges at Belair, but Belair moves and Niven stumbles to the outside. Niven then hits a splash on Belair and follows it up with a Senton, then poses.
Belair then hits a crossbody on Niven from the top rope for a near fall. Belair then goes for a KOD again, but Niven headbutts her way out of it. Niven then follows it up with a Boss Man Slam for a two count. Niven then goes for another Senton, but Belair moves out of the way and Belair spears Niven. Niven then hits Belair with a Cannonball and climbs to the top, but Belair cuts her off. Niven then slams Belair and follows it up with a Vader Bomb for a two count.
Niven then charges at Belair, but Belair moves and Niven runs into a ring post. Belair then hits Niven with a KOD for the win.

Carmelo Hayes and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis are then shown talking backstage. Aldis says Hayes will face a RAW superstar later in the show. Someone knocks on the door and Tozawa walks in. Hayes then smiles and says he would love to wrestle Tozawa later.
WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) then make their way down to the ring. Johnny Gargano starts off by telling the crowd to give it up for him and Ciampa. The crowd then boos Gargano and Ciampa. Gargano then says they are the best tag team in the world. Ciampa then says the chances of Motor City Machine Guns ever holding their titles are officially dead. Ciampa then says it’s a shame because they respect MCMG and 11 years ago MCMG were their favorite tag team. Gargano and Ciampa then tells the fans to stand up. Ciampa then asks for a moment of silence and Pretty Deadly’s music hits. Elton Prince says it is important to remind #DIY of the help Pretty Deadly gave them in recent months.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then makes his way out with a microphone and says #DIY is in no position to make demands. Aldis then says Pretty Deadly will face #DIY and if Pretty Deadly wins, they will receive a title shot. Aldis then books the match for right now. #DIY then throws a fit because they are not dressed in their wrestling gear.
The match starts off with Kit Wilson getting a hot tag from Elton Prince. Wilson then stomps on Ciampa and hits a sidewalk slam on Gargano. Prince then tags in and Pretty Deadly hits a springboard Codebreaker on Gargano for a two count. Ciampa and Prince are now left inside the ring and Ciampa hits several strikes on Prince. Gargano then pulls on Prince’s hair and Ciampa rolls Prince up, but Prince rolls through and rolls Ciampa up for the win.

We then get video footage of Alexa Bliss making a surprise return during the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Joe Tessitore then hypes her Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match with Candice LeRae as well as Drew McIntyre vs. LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso in a Men’s Triple Threat Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match.
The Miz is then shown talking to Andrade backstage. Andrade says he learned how to beat him last week and walks away. Cody Rhodes then shows up and Miz asks Cody if he could believe the new crop of talent being disrespectful and all. Miz then says he will always have Cody’s back and Cody says he doesn’t need Miz to have his back. Miz then asks Cody if he will still be Jey Uso’s friend if Jey chooses him. Miz then says it will be a hell of a story and Cody looks concerned as the segment ends.
We then get video footage of John Cena’s appearance at the post-Royal Rumble press conference, where he announced that he will be in the Elimination Chamber match.
“The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, but he has a microphone in hand. McIntyre starts off by saying he is officially back on Friday Night SmackDown. McIntyre then notes how he went backstage after the Royal Rumble and tore some things up after being eliminated and then drove home. McIntyre then says he woke up the next day and asked himself why he was so angry all the time. McIntyre then says it was because he was the victim of a toxic workplace, which was RAW. McIntyre then says he can see clearly now because Aldis called him and told him he will be allowed to be 100 percent Drew on SmackDown. McIntyre then says he is here for Cody and the WWE Championship. McIntyre is then interrupted by Jimmy Uso’s theme music and Jimmy makes his way out with a microphone.
Jimmy says every single week McIntyre keeps living in the past. Jimmy then says nobody ever stole anything from McIntyre and tonight he is there to earn a spot in the Chamber. McIntyre then says a couple weeks ago he will be angry about what Jimmy said, but he is cool now. McIntyre then says Jimmy and Jey are similar in every way and perhaps Jimmy will be where Jey is if he just said “Yeet” first. Jimmy then says tonight he needs to punch his ticket to WrestleMania and he is ready to kick Drew’s ass. Jimmy then says, “I’m going to WrestleMania, Uce.”
LA Knight’s music then hits and Knight makes his way out with a microphone. Knight cut his own music and says he doesn’t have any love for Jimmy because Jimmy is the reason he is not the WWE Champion. Knight then speaks into the camera about mental health and says it’s okay to cry. Knight then says there are three promises in life: Death, taxes and Drew McIntyre crying like a damn baby. Knight then says he is going to give Jimmy and Drew something to cry about and that is dashing their WrestleMania hopes. Knight then says, “Oh wait. I forgot to get my stuff in” and Drew snickers. Knight then enters the ring for their triple threat.
The match starts off with all three going after one another. McIntyre then chops Jimmy and goes to work on him while Knight is down in a corner. Jimmy then hits a Samoan Drop on McIntyre, but Knight breaks up a pin attempt. Jimmy then hops up and chops Knight, but Knight responds with a pop-up slam. Knight is then hit with a headbutt from McIntyre. McIntyre then throws Knight and goes back to Jimmy and suplexes him. McIntyre then sends Jimmy into a corner and hits a belly-to-belly on Knight across the ring. McIntyre then smiles.
Jimmy then comes back and sends McIntyre to the outside, where Jimmy follows it up with a dive. Knight then joins the two outside and rams McIntyre’s head onto the commentary desk. Knight then does the same to Jimmy. Knight then stands on top of the table and poses for the crowd. McIntyre then chops Jimmy, who is perched on the top rope. Jimmy then crotches McIntyre, but Knight returns and cuts Jimmy off while stomping on McIntyre.
Knight then climbs to the top for a superplex, but McIntyre pulls himself up and hits a German Suplex on Knight, who superplexes Jimmy. Knight and McIntyre then trade chops and Knight hits a DDT on McIntyre before going to the top and hitting an elbow, but Jimmy breaks up Knight’s pin attempt. Jimmy then lifts Knight, but Knight gets hit with a Spinebuster by McIntyre for a near fall.
McIntyre then sets up for a Claymore Kick, but Jimmy superkicks McIntyre and clotheslines McIntyre over the top to the outside. Jimmy then superkicks Knight and hits an Uso Splash on Knight from the top. The referee then counts to two, but then McIntyre pulled the referee outside of the ring. McIntyre is laid out on the commentary desk and Jimmy goes for another splash on Knight, but Knight rolls Jimmy up for a two count. Knight then sets up for a BFT on Jimmy and McIntyre hits a Claymore on Knight for the win.

Damian Priest is then interviewed by Byron Saxton in the backstage area. Saxton asks Priest for his reaction to McIntyre’s win. Priest says McIntyre is having a great day. Priest then says if McIntyre wasn’t he would already be complaining on the internet about it. Priest then says he will go to the Chamber and eliminate McIntyre just as he eliminated him from the Royal Rumble. Braun Strowman then shows up and tells Priest he has to qualify for the Chamber and next week it sounds like it will be Strowman vs. Priest vs. Fatu in another Men’s Chamber Qualifying Match. Strowman then says Priest will be in the ring with a wild animal and a monster next week. Priest then says he isn’t overlooking anyone.
We then get a video footage of what happened between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on RAW. Kevin Owens then cuts a promo from his car and talks about how much he and Zayn have been through. Owens then says the pain he suffered from his match at the Rumble might never go away and it’s all Zayn’s fault. Owens then says Zayn watched as Cody tried to end his career and did nothing. Owens then notes how Zayn rushed to the aid of Roman Reigns later that night while he did nothing for Owens earlier. Owens then says Zayn is a horrible friend and a disgusting human being and he will never forgive him. Owens then says he will make Zayn pay.
We then get video footage of Carmelo Hayes attacking Akira Tozawa in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Akira Tozawa then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Carmelo Hayes follows with a microphone in hand. Hayes says Tozawa looked like Cody Rhodes was left in the dryer too long. Hayes then says when he’s in Memphis they call him Ja Morant. Hayes then says the difference between him and the NBA player is that he will actually be selected for an all-star team.
The match starts off with Tozawa attacking Hayes. The referee then checks on Hayes. Tozawa then jumps from the middle rope and sends Hayes to the floor with a hurricanrana. Tozawa then jumps over the top rope and hits Hayes with a crossbody block. Tozawa then hits Hayes with a kick and then removes his own t-shirt before going to the ropes. Hayes then cuts off Tozawa and joins him on the ropes. Tozawa then hits a sunset bomb for a two count. Hayes then hits Nothing But Net on Tozawa for the win.

We then get highlights from the Men’s Royal Rumble match of Seth Rollins hitting a couple of Stomps on Roman Reigns. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett then speaks at their desk. Tessitore says they reached out to Paul Heyman for an update on Reigns, but Heyman has yet to respond. Tessitore then says Charlotte Flair will appear next.
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawlor is then shown in the crowd. Lawlor receives a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Memphis.
R-Truth is then shown backstage with Akira Tozawa and leaves him once he saw Jey Uso. Truth calls Jey “King Of The Ring” and says Tozawa “Yeeted on himself” before leaving. Cody then shows up and asks Jey what he is thinking about when it comes to WrestleMania. Jey then says he is undecided and walks away.
2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner “The Queen” Charlotte Flair then makes her way down to the ring. Flair says a number of “Woooos!” before saying hi Memphis to a mixed reaction. Flair then asks the crowd if they love her or hate her. Flair then says when people boo she sees money and it’s okay because she lives rent-free in fans’ lives. Flair then says everyone is obsessed with everything Charlotte Flair. Flair then says she knows everyone thinks she thinks she is better than everyone. Flair then asks if people thought she would actually be gone for 14 months and not win the Rumble. Flair then called the other women in the Rumble unserious and says there was no way she was going over the top rope.
Flair then reminds everyone that she became the first two-time women’s Royal Rumble winner. Flair then talks about how she went to RAW and NXT earlier this week and tonight she wanted to see if Tiffany. Tiffany Stratton’s music then hits and the WWE Women’s Champion makes her way down to the ring. Stratton then starts off by congratulating Flair and says nobody is a bigger Charlotte Flair fan than herself. Tiffany then says she wasn’t sure if WWE could survive without Flair. Stratton then says she came along and ticket sales went up and WWE is hotter than it’s ever been. Flair then pauses and asks Stratton if she said something. Flair then says, “Sweetheart, you speak when I say you can speak.” Stratton then says she has always been compared to Flair as a “Charlotte Flair wannabe.” Stratton then asks Flair to pick her for her WrestleMania match because then she will be The One And Only Tiffany Stratton. Flair then says she views Stratton as a child begging her to make her a star at WrestleMania. Flair then says if Tiffany wants The Queen to choose her then she is going to have to beg.
Nia Jax’s music then hits and Jax makes her way out with Candice LeRae. Jax says the blondie back and forth was cute and all because she is going to be champion by the time WrestleMania is here. Jax then says if Flair wants to be a champion at WrestleMania she is going to have to go through her. Alexa Bliss’ music then hits and Bliss makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Alexa Bliss going for a Sister Abigail on Candice LeRae, but LeRae avoids it. LeRae then gains control of the match. LeRae then goes to work on Bliss’ neck and back. Bliss then eventually trips LeRae into a turnbuckle and goes to the top, but LeRae cuts off Bliss. LeRae then tries to set up a superplex, but Bliss knocks LeRae off. LeRae then goes to the apron and Bliss follows. LeRae then nails Bliss face-first on the apron and poses a little.
LeRae is now working on Bliss’ back. LeRae then ragdolls Bliss until Bliss shows some anger and slaps LeRae a couple of times. LeRae then rolls to the apron and hits a neck breaker on Bliss before heading to the top. LeRae then hits a missile dropkick on Bliss for a two count. LeRae then rolls up Bliss and both women rolled around for a bit. LeRae then charges at Bliss and Bliss hits an Abigail DDT on LeRae for the win.

We then head to the back, where Chelsea Green is being interviewed by Byron Saxton. Saxton announces that next week Green will face Naomi in a Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Green talks about becoming a double champion. B-Fab and Michin then shows up and Michin says Chelsea might not be champion soon. Zelina Vega then shows up and says it might be time she gets a shot at Green’s title as well.
We then get a Street Profits video vignette and some video footage of their interference at the Royal Rumble. Angelo Dawkins says #DIY’s days are numbered. Montez Ford then says they didn’t like all these strangers coming in and people essentially just teaming up for the hell of it. Ford then says the Profits want the smoke.
The Motor City Machine Guns are then interviewed and Alex Shelley challenges The Street Profits the step up. Los Garza then shows up and Berto says it’s time for new teams to step up. Shelley then starts to fire back and Santos Escobar shows up. Escobar says The Street Profits started everything by attacking them for no reason. Escobar then says next week it will be Los Garza vs. MCMG.
We then get a Damian Priest, Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu video vignette hyping up their Men’s Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match next week.
2025 Men’s Royal Rumble winner “Main Event” Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night. Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring and Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga follows.
The match starts off with Cody and Tama Tonga. Jacob Fatu then tags himself in to challenge Cody. Fatu then hits Cody a few times to establish control. Tonga then tags in and Cody fights back. Tonga then goes for a splash in a corner, but Cody moves and ultimately gets the hot tag to Jey Uso. Jey then works Tonga over and hits him with a hip attack in a corner for a two count. Jey then hits a pop-up neck-breaker/cutter on Tonga and Fatu superkicks Jey. Tonga then hits a sliding clothesline on Jey for a two count. Fatu then tags in and knocks Cody off the apron. Fatu then lifts Jey and tags in Tonga, who hits a springboard splash on Jey. Tonga and Jey then clotheslines each other.
Cody then gets the hot tag and Fatu tags in as well. Cody then hits a Disaster Kick and a drop-down punch on Fatu. Cody then hits a Cody Cutter on Fatu for a one count. Cody then sets up for a Cross-Rhodes, but Fatu escapes and tags in Tonga, who hits Cody with a flatliner for a two count. Cody then goes to the top, but Fatu pushes Cody off the top and Tonga hits his jumping DDT for a two count. Fatu then superkicks Cody and runs the ropes, but Jey cuts Fatu off and superkicks him on the outside. Cody then hits a Cross-Rhodes on Tonga for the win.

After the match, Cody is celebrating his win with Uso when Solo Sikoa enters the ring wearing a black hoodie. Sikoa then hits Cody with a Samoan Spike and then stands over Cody as the show comes to a close.
