Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, airing February 14, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The show will see “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu, “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman and Damian Priest face each other in a Men’s Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match. Plus, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will defend her title against “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax.

WWE SmackDown Results (2/14/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Wade Barrett and Vic Joseph welcoming us, while we get a shot of the host city. We then see the arrivals of “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman, Damian Priest, “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga.

We then get a recap of last week’s show, focusing on the main event tag team match between Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga and the return of Solo Sikoa.

Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Cody starts off by asking the crowd what they want to talk about. Cody then says they could talk about the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match or Jey Uso choosing to select GUNTHER at WrestleMania 41. Cody then says the winner of the Men’s Elimination Chamber will challenge him at WrestleMania for the Undisputed WWE Championship, then runs through the list of competitors in the match so far. Cody then addresses Solo Sikoa and says he isn’t in any of the upcoming Elimination Chamber Qualifiers.

Drew McIntyre’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. McIntyre immediately takes objection with Rhodes glossing over his name when running down the list of Men’s Elimination Chamber participants and Rhodes says that’s fair for McIntyre to say. Cody then re-does McIntyre’s introduction with more enthusiasm and McIntyre still objects. McIntyre then lists off several of his accomplishments and says it’s now personal between them. Cody then says he can count on one hand who has defeated him since his WWE return and McIntyre is included on that list.

Jacob Fatu’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring alongside Tama Tonga. Fatu stares down McIntyre, then tells him he already got his spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber. Fatu then says he’s all gas and no brakes tonight and expresses his confidence in defeating Damian Priest and Braun Strowman tonight. Fatu then says he’ll go on to main event WrestleMania 41 and bring the Undisputed WWE Championship back to his family where it belongs. McIntyre then says people want to see him fight Fatu, but leaves the ring before they can. Fatu then circles Rhodes and the two stare each other down. We then see Solo Sikoa pull up to the Capital One Arena and Cody looks to meet him outside. Fatu then stops Cody and says he gets Sikoa first and Rhodes says Fatu can get the first word as long as he gets the last one.

We then see WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi and Bianca Belair walking and talking backstage.

We then see Tama Tonga asking a production member where Solo Sikoa is and the production member says he doesn’t know. Tonga then walks off, but Jacob Fatu appears out of nowhere and attacks the production member.

We then see WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi and Bianca Belair already in the ring, while Wade Barrett is interviewing WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at ringside. Barrett asks Stratus for her thoughts on the Elimination Chamber coming to her town of Toronto and if we can expect an appearance from her. Stratus says she’s excited about it and yes because it’s in her hometown she’ll be there. Stratus then says the only question is in what capacity.

WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green and Piper Niven then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night, which is a Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match.

Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: WWE United States Champion Chelsea Green vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Naomi

The match starts off with Naomi rolling up Green. Green then kicks out, but Naomi rolls her up once again. Green then kicks out and rolls up Naomi, but Naomi kicks out and hits a leg drop on Green. Naomi then looks to hit a dropkick on Green, but Niven pulls Green out of the way before Naomi can. Green then sends Naomi back inside the ring, then follows her in there and delivers a right hand on her.

Naomi then rolls up Green once again, but Green kicks out. Green then delivers some right hands on Naomi, then sends her head bouncing off the mat repeatedly and hits her with a step-up enzuigiri. Green then places Naomi on the top rope, then hits her with an open palm strike. Naomi then hits a crossbody off the middle rope on Green, then nails her with a roundhouse kick and a variation of a Famouser.

Green and Naomi then exchange roundhouse kicks, but Naomi sends Green crashing into the mat face first using the middle rope and looks to follow it up with a split legged moonsault. Green then avoids it and hits a Famouser of her own on Naomi, then pins Naomi. Naomi then reverses the fall, but Green kicks out and sends Naomi crashing into the corner. Green then sends Naomi crashing into the mat. Green then sets up for the Unprettier on Naomi, but Naomi escapes and hits a facebuster on Green. Naomi then hits a split legged moonsault on Green for the win.

Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett then talks about the package piledriver that Kevin Owens hit Sami Zayn with. Sami Zayn then cuts a promo from his home and says his neck isn’t doing well. Zayn then says he has nerve damage and has been seeing specialists. Zayn then says it’s been tough to come to terms with what’s happened between him and Kevin Owens. Zayn then says their turns on one another have become a joke, but this one is different because Owens tried to end his career with a package piledriver. Zayn then says he doesn’t know when he’ll be cleared, but he and Owens will go at it again once once he is back. Zayn then says it won’t be fun and he will see Owens soon.

Motor City Machine Guns then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Los Garza then make their way down to the ring next.

Tag Team Match: Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. Los Garza (Angel and Berto)

The match starts off with Angel and Chris Sabin. Alex Shelley then tags in. Shelley and Sabin then double team on Angel, but Berto tags in and hits a kick on Shelley. Angel then tags in and hits a spinebuster on Shelley before Berto tags in and hits a bodyslam on Shelley. Berto then follows it up with a standing moonsault, then sends Shelley into the corner and tags in Angel.

Angel then deliver some stomps and right hands on Shelley in the corner, then nails him on his spine. Berto then tags in and flies over the top rope to send Shelley crashing into the mat, then tags Angel back in. Angel then delivers some right hands on Shelley’s spine, but Berto and Sabin tag in. Shelley then tags in and Motor City Machine Guns double team on Berto with a dropkick-flapjack combination. Angel and Berto then double team on Motor City Machine Guns with a double spinebuster-enzuigiri combination. Motor City Machine Guns then hit the Skull and Bones on Berto for the win.

We then get a promo video package on Damian Priest. Priest says when he is in the ring it’s him against everybody. Priest then says he is ready to win tonight to qualify and then go on to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber and cement his spot at WrestleMania 41. Vic Joseph then hypes Priest’s involvement in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match for later in the show.

We then head to the back, where Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga finds Solo Sikoa. Sikoa is sitting down and he stares at Fatu. Solo then stands up and tells Jacob that he has been messed up since losing the Tribal Combat Match against Roman Reigns at the WWE RAW on Netflix debut episode. Sikoa then says he is back and ready to get things back on track. Sikoa then says it starts with Fatu winning the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match tonight. Fatu then goes to walk off, but Solo grabs his arm. Fatu then turns around and Solo says, “I love you, Jacob.” Fatu then hesitates, but ultimately walks off.

WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura then makes his way down to the ring. Nakamura says for weeks he has waited and watched from the shadows looking for a warrior to test him. Nakamura then says there’s no warriors here and no one can rise above the thickness.

LA Knight’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Knight says let me talk to you, then says Nakamura is playing two lies and a truth with the truth being he was hiding in the shadows. The Miz’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. The Miz says he was wrong about saying Knight was a flash in the pan a year ago and the WWE Universe is now eating out of the palm of his hand despite all being basic. Knight then responds by telling The Miz he has had the same gimmick for the last ten years when he was relevant, but he’s happy to see him in the ring since he almost forgot he was in WWE. The Miz then fake cries when fans want him to go away and Knight compares Miz to Drew McIntyre calling them both crybabies. The Miz then calls his shot at the United States Championship and Knight continues to take verbal jabs at Miz. Knight then nails Miz, leading to SmackDown General Manager making his way down to the ring to make a match between The Miz and LA Knight.

Singles Match: “The Mega Star” LA Knight vs. The Miz

The match starts off with LA Knight hitting The Miz with a powerslam for a near fall. Nakamura is then shown still lurking around ringside and watching the action. The Miz then takes control of the match with several kicks and chinlocks. Knight then hits a backdrop on The Miz to the floor, then follows it up with a sliding dropkick. Knight then smashes Miz’s head onto the announcer’s table. Nakamura then distracts Knight and Miz was able to take control, sending Knight into the ring steps.

Knight then hits a neckbreaker on Miz and follows it up with a snap powerslam. Knight then hits a big elbow on Miz for a near fall. Miz then trips Knight up on the middle turnbuckle and hits him with an avalanche clothesline and a flatliner out of the corner for his own near fall. Miz then goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Knight escapes and puts Miz into a cradle for a near fall. Miz then hits Knight with a DDT for a near fall. Knight then get hits with a boot from Miz, but hits the BFT out of nowhere on Miz. Knight then hits an elbow off the top rope on Miz for the win.

After the match, Knight and Nakamura has a stare-down while Nakamura holds up his United States Championship before exiting the ring.

We then head to the back, where Nia Jax is talking with Candice LeRae when Alexa Bliss shows up holding the Lilly doll. Bliss tells Jax good luck and have fun during her match, then says hopefully she will fare better than LeRae did last week. Jax then says she thinks she will be fine because she is familiar with former friends betraying her. A Wyatt Sicks image then flashes on the screen. Bliss then says she was talking to Lilly about how fun it would be to have a WrestleMania rematch.

R-Truth then makes his way down to the ring for his match against Carmelo Hayes.

We then see Andrade confront The Miz as he is walking backstage. Andrade tells Miz that he can teach him something and then walks away. Carmelo Hayes then shows up and tells Miz that people like Andrade don’t respect people like them. Miz then pitches the idea of teaming up with Hayes and does his “Melo Don’t Miss” catchphrase and offers a fist bump. Hayes then shakes his head negatively and leaves The Miz hanging.

Carmelo Hayes then makes his way down to the ring next.

Singles Match: R-Truth vs. Carmelo Hayes

The match starts off with Truth hitting Hayes with a couple of shoulder tackles. Truth then sends Hayes crashing into the mat and sets up for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Hayes intercepts Truth with a kick and follows it up with The First 48 and Nothing But Net for the win.

Vic Joseph then hypes that Kevin Owens will speak next.

The Street Profits then cut a promo. Angelo Dawkins says when he is fully cleared Pretty Deadly, Los Garza, Motor City and DIY’s days are numbered. Montez Ford then says the Lord better have mercy on their souls and they still want the smoke.

We then see Byron Saxton interview Pretty Deadly and he asks them how they feel now that they have a title shot. They say they are done being underestimated. #DIY then shows up and says they a not mad, but they are disappointed. Pretty Deadly then says they just stood up for themselves. #DIY then says they were good to them and now whatever happens next week is on them and that they will end their careers.

Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett then mention they have received a response from Kevin Owens to the video sent in by Sami Zayn earlier tonight. Owens cuts a promo from his car and says Sami’s neck is hurt, but he is feeling real pain. Owens then says he will show Sami real pain in Canada. Owens then challenges Sami to meet him where it all started, in Canada, at WWE Elimination Chamber.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is then shown walking through the backstage area.

2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair is then shown taking a seat in the Gorilla Position area. Joseph says Flair will be very interested in the WWE Women’s Championship Match that is coming up next.

We then get a video package recapping the history between Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night, while Nia Jax and Candice LeRae are already inside the ring and Charlotte Flair is shown watching the action on a backstage television.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax

The match starts off with Nia Jax rag-dolling Tiffany Stratton. Stratton then cartwheels out of a toss, but gets caught with a pop-up headbutt for a near fall. Jax then goes for a hip attack against the ringpost, but Stratton escaped and hist a handspring elbow on Jax. Jax then hits Stratton with a Samoan Drop for a near fall. Jax then hits Stratton with a slam and a leg drop for another near fall. Jax then goes for the hip attack on Stratton against the ringpost for a second time, then hits an elbow on Stratton for another near fall.

Stratton then fights her way out of a chin lock. Stratton and Jax then goes for some kind of a powerbomb into a sunset flip. Jax then hits catches Stratton as she was going for a second handspring elbow and just dumps her and hits a leg on her ribs for another near fall. Jax then places Stratton on her shoulders for a super Samoan Drop, but Stratton escapes and trips up Jax. Stratton then hits Jax with a double stomp off the top for a near fall. Stratton then goes to the top once again, but Jax trips her and sets up a super Samoan Drop for a near fall. Jax then hits a leg drop off the middle rope on Stratton for another near fall as Charlotte watches the action from the backstage area.

Stratton then hit a moonsault on Jax to the floor. Stratton then hits a swanton bomb on Jax in the ring for a two count. Stratton then tries to lift Jax up for a Samoan Drop, but falls under Jax’s weight. Jax then goes for a Banzai Drop, but Stratton moves out of the way. Stratton then goes for the prettiest moonsault ever, but Candice LeRae attacks Stratton to cause a disqualification.

After the match, LeRae grabs a chair, but WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus makes her way down to the ring to make the save. Jax then attacks Stratus and hits her with an avalanche. Jax then nails Stratton with another leg drop and a number of officials make their way down to the ring to break up the attack.

As Jax and LaRae were heading to the back, Charlotte Flair makes her way out. Stratton is laid out in the ring and Flair grabs a mic and a seat in the ring. Flair then tells Stratton, “The Queen Chooses You!” and Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair is made official for WrestleMania 41.

We then head to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis’ office in the back, where he shows Bianca Belair and Naomi a cell phone video of Jade Cargill being loaded into an ambulance as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are shown to be walking away. Aldis then tells Naomi and Belair that he will be talking to Adam Pearce, but Belair says she and Naomi will show up on RAW to confront Morgan and Rodriguez.

Damian Priest is then shown walking the hall way as Vic Joseph mentions that the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying match is coming up next.

We then head to the back, where WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is being interviewed by Byron Saxton. Stratton says it is hard to focus on WrestleMania after what Nia Jax and Candice LeRae did to her. WWE Hall of Famer Tiffany Stratton then shows up and makes a pitch to team up at the Elimination Chamber. Stratton then asks if Stratus is saying that it will be Tiffy and Trishy Time in Toronto. Stratus then conforms that is what she is saying.

Vic Joseph then runs through the WrestleMania 41 lineup and Jimmy Uso is seen applauding the lineup. Drew McIntyre then shows up and taunts Jimmy about how poorly his career is going. McIntyre then says on the plus side Jimmy married up. Jimmy then superkicks McIntyre and McIntyre is laid out.

Braun Strowman is then shown walking and talking in the backstage area. Strowman says he had his hands full, but people forget that he’s a former world champion. Strowman then talks about winning the Chamber match and then tells Cody Rhodes that he is coming for him. Strowman’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night.

Jacob Fatu then makes his way down to the ring for the main event without Tama Tonga and Damian Priest follows.

Men’s Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match: “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu vs. “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman vs. Damian Priest

The match starts off with Braun Strowman hitting Jacob Fatu with a boo. Damian Priest and Fatu then knocks Strowman to the floor with a double shoulder block. Fatu then hits Priest with a running elbow. Fatu and Priest are then brawling and Strowman hits them both with a crossbody. Strowman then sends both Fatu and Priest to the floor with clotheslines.

Strowman then pulls Fatu out of the ring and tosses him against the boards. Fatu then sends Strowman into the ring steps, then heads back into the ring to deal with Priest. Priest then nails Fatu with an elbow strike and follows it up with a spinning heel kick. Priest then nails Strowman with a superkick off the apron. Priest then goes for old-school on Fatu, but Strowman places Priest in a choke. Fatu then turns it into a Samoan Drop. Fatu then hits a swanton bomb on Priest for a near fall.

Fatu then goes for another Samoan Drop, but Priest escapes. Fatu then hits a superkick on Priest, then sets up Priest for a superplex. Strowman then runs in and does a stacker-superplex powerbomb. Strowman then hits Fatu with a number of clotheslines and a back body drop. Priest then hits Fatu with a flatliner on the commentary desk. Strowman then hits a pounce on Priest over the table, then chokeslams Fatu on the table.

Fatu then hits Strowman with a series of hip attacks against the turnbuckles. Fatu then gets a chair and wraps the chair around Strowman’s neck for another hip attack, but Strowman nails Fatu with a boot. Strowman then wraps the chair around Fatu’s neck, but before he could crush him Solo Sikoa shows up out of nowhere and hits Strowman with a Samoan Spike. Cody Rhodes then tries to fend of Sikoa. Tama Tonga then shows up to assist Sikoa, but Sikoa hits Tonga with a Samoan Spike. Fatu then jumps out of the ring to get in Sikoa’s face about hitting Tonga. Priest then clotheslines Fatu and Rhodes hits Sikoa with a Cross Rhodes on the floor. Strowman then goes for a powerslam on Priest, but Priest escapes and hits the South of Heaven on Strowman for the win.

After the match, Cody enters the ring with Priest and they both look at the WrestleMania sign. Cody and Priest then shakes hands and looks back at the sign. Priest then raises his fist to the crowd and the show comes to a close.
