WWE wasted no time setting the stage for next week during the WWE SmackDown episode on October 16, 2026, announcing three matches for the October 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
The biggest stipulation match announced will see Giulia go one-on-one with Blake Monroe in a Street Fight. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made that one official during tonight’s show after Monroe went to him looking for something to be done about Giulia.
WWE also confirmed that Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley will put their titles on the line against Michin and B-Fab next Friday.
On the men’s side, MFT will also be in tag team action against Bakusai, giving WWE another match to build around for the October 23 broadcast.
The announced lineup for next week currently includes:
- Street Fight: Giulia vs. Blake Monroe
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley vs. Michin & B-Fab
- MFT vs. Bakusai
That already gives WWE a pretty packed foundation for October 23, especially with Giulia and Monroe getting a match where the normal rules are being thrown out.
Ringside News will provide live, match-by-match coverage of WWE SmackDown as the October 23 show unfolds.
