WWE just dropped a new championship belt to celebrate Stephanie McMahon’s 2026 Hall of Fame induction — but it’s not the design or the price getting the most attention now. It’s a pretty glaring mistake in the product description.

The company released the Stephanie McMahon 2026 Hall of Fame Legacy Title through WWE Shop as a special collector’s item tied to her upcoming induction. The belt features Stephanie’s initials on the center plate along with lions and gold detailing meant to reflect her legacy in WWE. But when fans looked closer at the description, they noticed something that didn’t add up.

In the official listing, WWE claimed that Stephanie would be joining her father and husband in the WWE Hall of Fame — except Vince McMahon has never actually been inducted. Here’s the line from the description that raised eyebrows:

“The McMahon family has shaped sports entertainment for generations, and now Stephanie McMahon is joining her father and husband in the WWE Hall of Fame!”

That statement is flat-out incorrect. While Triple H is already a Hall of Fame inductee and Stephanie McMahon is set to join the class of 2026, Vince McMahon has never been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The mistake makes it look like whoever wrote the listing either assumed Vince was already in or didn’t double-check the facts before the title went live on WWE Shop. Either way, it’s a surprising miss for a company that carefully manages its history and branding.

This whole situation is unfolding while the belt itself is already drawing attention for its steep $849.99 price tag, putting it in line with WWE’s high-end replica titles. But now, the botched description may end up getting just as much discussion as the belt itself.

It’ll be interesting to see whether WWE quietly edits the description or addresses the error, especially with fans already pointing out the mistake online.
