Countdown To WWE Royal Rumble Pre-Show Results (1/31/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The Countdown To WWE Royal Rumble Pre-Show opens up with a view of Riyadh and the Riyadh Season Stadium, which is the site of today’s Royal Rumble PLE. We then see the arrivals of several stars, including Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Bron Breakker and Triple H.
Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show and he introduces Big E and Wade Barrett as the other members of the pre-show panel. The pre-show panel then sends us to Jackie Redmond and she discusses the Drew McIntyre/Sami Zayn match. Cathy Kelley then discusses the AJ Styles/GUNTHER match.
We then a take a look at how the stadium was built from the ground up and Byron Saxton talks about the construction and how it was built in less than a month.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk then joins the pre-show panel and we get some discussion from the panel. Punk suggests a drinking game for the Royal Rumble Countdown show. The pre-show panel then discuss Punk being the cover Superstar of WWE 2K26.
The pre-show panel then give their predictions for the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble Matches. Big E picks Oba Femi and Roxanne Perez, Wade Barrett picks Bron Breakker and Becky Lynch, CM Punk picks GUNTHER and Charlotte Flair and Michael Cole picks Raquel Rodriguez and Roman Reigns.
We then see Jackie Redmond interviewing Jey Uso earlier today. Jey says he is going to shock the world two times in a row. Jey then mentions the people in the match. Jey then shows off his Royal Rumble gear.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce then joins the panel. Paul Heyman then interrupts and he asks Pearce to talk to him in private about fixing the Bron Breakker thing. Pearce then says it is random. Paul then says he was moved to number two. Paul then mentions that two is as bad as one. Pearce then reminds Paul it is a random draw. Paul then asks Pearce if he wants to play FAFO with him, then he will do the same. Punk then tells Paul it has been random for years. Pearce then leaves.
Peter Rosenberg is now with the fans and we see footage of him and Jackie Redmond going around Riyadh this week.
We then see footage of all the media coverage and the appearances from the WWE stars. We then see AJ Styles.
